An improved device for collecting particulate matter suspended in the ambient air is disclosed comprising a container extending between an open first end and a closed second end defining a container interior. A container output communicates with a container interior located proximate the closed second end of the container. A filter cassette comprising a collection filter is permanently affixed to a filter holder. A retainer having a retainer input retains the filter cassette between the retainer input and the container output. An output connector connects the container output to a low pressure source for drawing ambient air into the retainer input for enabling the collection filter to collect particulate matter suspended in the ambient air entering the retainer input. Preferably, the filter holder and the filter are disposable.

Device for collecting particulate matter

An adjustable vehicle pet platform assembly and method of use prevents inadvertent or intentional activation of an air bag sensor incorporated in a seat portion of a vehicle seat by supporting the pet on a platform body. The platform body extends and retracts longitudinally to accommodate variously sized pets. The platform body is suspended in a spaced-apart disposition from the seat portion. A length and angle-adjustable front leg support elevates the platform body above the seat portion from the floor surface of vehicle. An angle-adjustable rear leg support supports the platform body from the rear portion of the seat.

Adjustable vehicle pet platform assembly and method of use

A handheld container for dispensing particulate matter having an opening and a moveable cover for the opening positioned at the bottom of the container. The cover has a pivoting lid that can selectively open or close the opening of the container and assist with dispersal of particulate from the container while a user holds the container in an upright position. The lid may swing outward from the container or hinge into an open position and include a series of ribs for improving the dispersal of particulate.

A slotted catheter securement device adapted for securing a catheter extending generally perpendicularly from skin of a patient, having a base member and a securing member co-planarly oriented, the securing member being joined to the base member non-coextensively, an interior opening, a slot passing through the base member and the securing member in communication with the interior opening; the securing member having a first bridging member and a second bridging member non-coextensively joined to the base member, a securing adhesive layer positioned on at least one of the first and second bridging members, the first bridging member having an attached end and a free end, the second bridging member having two attached ends, whereby the first and second bridging members fold away from the base member to adhere to each other and to the catheter disposed therebetween.

A catheter anchoring or securement device and system in combination with or for securing a catheter system to a patient's skin in a fixed position, the invention having a flexible anchor sheet member having an adhesive backing that adheres the flexible anchor sheet member to the patient's skin, a compressible catheter receiving pad mounted to the flexible anchor sheet member, and releasable securing strap covering the compressible catheter receiving pad, wherein the compressible catheter receiving pad is provided with a cavity or recess, the peripheral configuration of which corresponds to the footprint configuration of the catheter body member. The cavity has an axially-oriented channel extending the full width of the flexible anchor sheet member and opposing sets of retention walls defining lateral recesses, the combination of which precludes relative movement of the catheter fitting in all lateral directions.

A catheter securement device that adheres to the skin of a patient having an epidural catheter or similar small flexible tube member inserted percutaneously, the securement device having a flexible, sheet-like main body member capable of adhering to the skin of the patient, a notched pad member over which the catheter is bent, an exposed portion of adhesive to contact the catheter, and a releasable retention member to secure the catheter onto the main body member.
