Techniques for providing a display inside a vehicle are presented. The techniques can include: providing an electrophoretic surface integrated into an internal component of the vehicle, where the electrophoretic surface is flame resistant, and where the electrophoretic surface is configured to display an image within the vehicle; and controlling the electrophoretic surface using an electronic controller communicatively coupled to the electrophoretic surface.

Active display interior vehicle surfaces

A system and a method include a dimmable window system including window structure having a first surface and an opposite second surface, and an electrical film component that is operably coupled with the second surface of the window structure. The electrical film component is controlled to change between plural different states. A power source provides power to the electrical film component to change the electrical film component between the plural different states.

Dimmable window systems and methods

A system and a method include a substrate having a surface, such as an exterior surface of a vehicle. An electrophoretic display is disposed on the surface. A control unit is coupled to the electrophoretic display. The control unit is configured to selectively change one or more properties of the electrophoretic display.
