A laminar jet for a hydrotherapy tub having a water inlet adapted for attachment to a water circulation system, a flow inducer section and a cap having a water outlet at one end of the cap. The cap may be rotated so the jet directs a substantially laminar water stream from the water outlet substantially parallel to tub surface. The jet cap may be locked in a desired position. A bathtub may have a number of laminar jets which may be direct water streams toward convergent zones and may simulate natural laminar flows. The zones or streams may be associated with recesses, channels or protrusions on a tub wall or directed to or around an object or occupant in the tub. The jet may be optimized for laminar flow by CFD, including streamline adjusting, eliminating negative pressure drop, and maximizing volumetric flow.

Laminar jet and hydrotherapy bath system

A carrier capable of holding one or more workpieces is disclosed. The carrier includes movable projections located along the sides of each cell in the carrier. This carrier, in conjunction with a separate alignment apparatus, aligns each workpiece within its respective cell against several alignment pins, using a multiple step alignment process to guarantee proper positioning of the workpiece in the cell. First, the workpieces are moved toward one side of the cell. Once the workpieces have been aligned against this side, the workpieces are then moved toward an adjacent orthogonal side such that the workpieces are aligned to two sides of the cell. Once aligned, the workpiece is held in place by the projections located along each side of each cell. In addition, the alignment pins are also used to align the associated mask, thereby guaranteeing that the mask is properly aligned to the workpiece.

System and method for 2D workpiece alignment

A horizontal oscillatory feeder apparatus is disclosed for feeding a plurality of different types of electrical components of varying mass along respective tracks to component pick-up stations. The components and the tracks are supported on a base plate, which is excited in an oscillatory movement. The movement of the base plate is constrained so that movement is permitted only along an axis parallel to the feeder tracks. An excitation apparatus excites the base plate so that the acceleration forces applied to the components in a desired direction of movement exceeds the frictional force tending to prevent slippage of the components on the tracks; the acceleration forces applied to the components in the opposite direction are limited so that the components do not slip on the track in the opposite direction to the desired movement. A component clamp may be located at the end of the respective tracks to clamp the components in place at respective pick-up locations once the components have been fed forward to the pick-up locations by the effect of the oscillatory movement.
