A plurality of pieces of data is properly transmitted with use of a plurality of beams. Data generated in an application is divided into a plurality of pieces of data, different priorities are assigned to the plurality of pieces of data, and the plurality of pieces of data is transmitted with a plurality of beams. A beam quality acquiring section acquires quality of each of the plurality of beams. A beam evaluating section performs evaluation of the plurality of beams on the basis of quality of each of the beams. A beam assigning section determines a correspondence between the plurality of beams and the plurality of pieces of data on the basis of evaluation of the beams and the priorities of data. A controller controls a transmitter to transmit the plurality of pieces of data through the corresponding plurality of beams.

There is provided a communication device that determines a wireless resource for a downlink without performing signaling between a base station and a terminal. A communication device includes a communication unit that transmits and receives a wireless signal, and a wireless resource determination unit that determines a wireless resource used for transmission and reception. The wireless resource determination unit determines, in a communication system including a base station and a terminal, on the basis of a common rule between the base station and the terminal, a plurality of candidates for the wireless resource to be used for downlink communication in the slot for each terminal, and then selects the plurality of candidates for each terminal one by one in such a manner that wireless resources do not overlap between the terminals.

The present technology relates to a reception device and method and a transmission device and method that enable provision of a low power consumption wireless communication system that can be used regardless of location. A terminal on a transmission side transmits a control frame containing transmission-related information regarding a transmission time and a transmission frequency that are determined on the basis of an internal time and a terminal ID on a transmission side. Then, after transmitting the control frame, the terminal on the transmission side transmits a data frame containing predetermined data in accordance with the transmission time and the transmission frequency. Provided is an information processing device that performs processing related to long-distance transmission and bidirectional communication between a plurality of terminals and a plurality of base stations. The information processing device includes: a collection unit that collects each piece of reception information of a plurality of base stations that receives an uplink frame from a terminal; and a processing unit that processes cooperative transmission of a downlink frame from the plurality of base stations to the terminal on the basis of the reception information. After repetitive uplink frame transmission is performed by using a plurality of frequencies, a downlink frame is performed at the same frequency after a certain period of time elapses from a detection timing of the uplink frame at each frequency.

Information processing device and information processing method

The present technology relates to a transmission device and method as well as a reception device and method which can suppress the influence of interference. The transmission device sets different methods of changing the frequency of the chirp modulation for each of first information and second information different from the first information. The transmission device transmits the chirp-modulated first information or second information in accordance with the set frequency change method. The present technology can be applied to a wireless communication system.

A plurality of sensor devices that senses environmental data at installation positions is appropriately arranged. Each sensor device includes a device detection unit, a position fixing unit, a sensor unit, and a transmission unit. The device detection unit performs operation of detecting another sensor device in the surrounding area and generates a detection result thereof. The position fixing unit fixes a position of the own sensor device on the basis of the detection result obtained by the device detection unit. The sensor unit senses environmental data at a position fixed by the position fixing unit. The transmission unit transmits the data sensed by the sensor unit.

LDPC coding is executed using a check matrix of an LDPC code whose code length is 736 bits and whose code rate is 1/4, and modulation is executed using a repetition unit that has an LDPC code obtained by the LDPC coding, repeatedly arranged therein. The LDPC code includes information bits and parity bits, the check matrix includes an information matrix portion corresponding to the information bits and a parity matrix portion corresponding to the parity bits, the parity matrix portion has a stepwise structure, the information matrix portion is indicated by a check matrix initial value table, and the check matrix initial value table is a predetermined table indicating positions of elements of '1' of the information matrix portion for each eight columns. This technique is applicable to, for example, information transmission using the LDPC code.
