Systems and methods are disclosed for selecting a digital component for a user device based on data derived from connection parameters of the connection between the user device and an access point, without prompting the user for information. Connection parameters are extracted from access point data (e.g., geo-location parameters of the access point) that are specific to the access point and transformed into attributes of a user independently of requesting any submission of personal information from/about the user of the particular device. The attributes of the user are then used to generate a connection profile for the user. The connection profile can include the connection parameters as well as other derived attributes of the user. Based on the connection profile, a digital component is selected to be delivered to the user device.

Methods and arrangements for effecting authentication in a secure transaction. There are defined, on behalf of a user, individuals who are members of a social network of the user. There is received, from the user, a transaction request for a secure transaction. The authentication test requests the user to confirm at least one information item related to at least one member of the user's social network. Methods and arrangements for facilitating tangible interactions in voice applications. At least two tangible objects are provided, along with a measurement interface. The measurement interface is communicatively connected with a voice application. At least one of the two tangible objects is displaced with respect to the measurement interface, and the displacement of at least one of the at least two tangible objects is converted to input for the voice application.
