Various embodiments are generally directed to an apparatus, method and other techniques for detecting, by one or more sensor components, at least one sensor input, and executing, by logic, at least one instruction to cause an event on a wearable wireless device, the event comprising at least one of a change in a physical parameter on the wearable wireless device and a wireless communication with a computing device via a transceiver.

Techniques for detecting sensor inputs on a wearable wireless device

An example apparatus includes: a first earpiece to be positioned proximate a first ear of a user and including: a first microphone to transduce ambient sound external to the first earpiece into a first ambient audio signal, the ambient sound including sound indicative of a potential danger; and a first speaker to transduce a first input audio signal into music and the first ambient audio signal into the sound indicative of the potential danger; and a second earpiece to be positioned proximate a second ear of the user and including: a second microphone to transduce the ambient sound external to the second earpiece into a second ambient audio signal, the ambient sound including the sound indicative of the potential danger; and a second speaker to transduce a second input audio signal into the music and the second ambient audio signal into the sound indicative of the potential danger.

A method is described to facilitate breathing management. The method includes receiving sensory data from one or more wearable devices, recording a breathing pattern of a wearer of the one or more wearable devices based on data received from the sensor array, calculating a body movement of the wearer based on the data received from the sensor array and correlating a wearer breathing pattern with the wearer body movement and heart rate.

A wearable device for binaural audio is described. The wearable device includes a feedback mechanism, a microphone, an always on binaural recorder (AOBR), and a processor. The AOBR is to capture ambient noise via the microphone and interpret the ambient noise. An alert is issued by the processor to the feedback mechanism based on a notification detected via the microphone in the ambient noise.

Embodiments are disclosed herein for inter-computing device negotiation. In some embodiments, a first computing device may determine that a second computing device is within a predetermined proximity of the first computing device, and may cause the transmission of negotiation initiation data to the second computing device in response to the determination. Technologies are described herein that allow a user to wake up a computing device operating in a low-power state and for the user to be verified by speaking a single wake phrase. Wake phrase recognition is performed by a low-power engine. In some embodiments, the low-power engine may also perform speaker verification. In other embodiments, the mobile device wakes up after a wake phrase is recognized and a component other than the low-power engine performs speaker verification on a portion of the audio input comprising the wake phrase. More than one wake phrases may be associated with a particular user, and separate users may be associated with different wake phrases. Different wake phrases may cause the device transition from a low-power state to various active states.
