A bracket for connecting an after-treatment component to a frame is disclosed. The bracket may have a clevis connectable to the after-treatment component. The bracket may also have a front link coupler. The front link coupler may have a tang connected to the clevis. The front link coupler may also have a first flange extending outward from the tang and a second flange extending outward from the tang opposite the first flange. In addition, the front link coupler may have a third flange spaced apart from the first flange and extending outward from the tang and a fourth flange spaced apart from the second flange and extending outward from the tang opposite the third flange. The first, second, third, and fourth flanges may be connectable to the frame.

Bracket for an after-treatment component

The present disclosure is directed to an after-treatment device. The after-treatment device may have a center plenum configured to be fluidly connected to an engine. The after-treatment device may also have a filter bank having a plurality of filter assemblies. Each filter assembly may have an inlet fluidly connected to the center plenum. The inlet may be oriented orthogonal to the center plenum. Each filter assembly may also have an outlet. Further, the after-treatment device may have an exhaust plenum fluidly connected to the outlet. The exhaust plenum may be oriented orthogonal to the outlet. The exhaust plenum may also have an outer wall disposed parallel to and located at a predetermined distance from the outlet.

After-treatment device

A mounting system for connecting an after-treatment component to a frame is disclosed. The mounting system may have a front center bracket connectable to a front end of the after-treatment component. The mounting system may further have a front link, which may have a first end connected to the front center bracket and a second end connectable to the frame. The mounting system may also have a rear center bracket connectable to a rear end of the after-treatment component. In addition, the mounting system may have a rear link, which may have a first end connected to the rear center bracket and a second end connectable to the frame.

A mounting foot for mounting an after-treatment component to a frame is disclosed. The mounting foot may have a pad connectable to the frame. The mounting foot may also have a slider slidably connected to the pad. In addition, the mounting foot may have a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket may have a first end connectable to the after-treatment component and a second end connected to the slider.

An adjustable support structure for an after-treatment component is disclosed. The adjustable support structure may have a housing wall. The adjustable support structure may also have a plate. The plate may have a base edge fixedly connected to the housing wall. The plate may also have a distal edge. The adjustable support structure may also have a bracket connected to the plate at the distal edge. The bracket may be configured to engage the after-treatment component. The adjustable support structure may also have first and second legs extending from the bracket toward the housing wall. The first and second legs may be spaced apart from each other to receive the distal edge of the plate therebetween.

A heater tube for an exhaust system is disclosed. The heater tube may have an open end to receive heated exhaust from a pre-heater. The heater tube may have a closed end located opposite the open end. The heater tube may also have an outer surface extending from the open end to the closed end. The heater tube may further have a fin attached to the outer surface. In addition, the heater tube may have an opening disposed on the outer surface to discharge the heated exhaust.

A support system for an exhaust aftertreatment system for a two-stroke locomotive diesel engine providing a secure mounting of certain components of the exhaust aftertreatment system to the locomotive structure while at the same time allowing for differential thermal expansion (and the resulting physical displacement) of the components. The support system further carries the physical mass of the components of the aftertreatment system while at the same time effectively isolating the aftertreatment system from external loads and forces caused by motions of the locomotive engine and the locomotive frame.
