Example implementations relate to an implantable device that can accommodate a vessel of a living body and can detect light transmitted across the vessel. The implantable device transmits a wireless transmitter signal corresponding to the intensity of the detected light. The intensity of the detected light correlates to patency of the vessel.

In example implementations, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes an interface, an inheritance engine, an anomaly detection module and a processor. The interface communicates with a sensor array. The inheritance engine is used to create a model of the sensor array based on information collected from the each one of a plurality of nodes in the sensor array over the interface. The anomaly detection engine is used to monitor the sensor array in accordance with the model to detect an anomaly and initiate a corrective action to correct the anomaly in two or more of the plurality of nodes within the sensor array simultaneously. The processor is in communication with the inheritance engine and the anomaly detection engine is used to execute instructions associated with the inheritance engine and the anomaly detection engine.

Seismic based fracking fluid disposal can in an example embodiment include selecting a first disposal site of a plurality of disposal sites to receive fracking fluid from a fracking site; measuring, via a seismic sensor, seismic waves associated with the first disposal site; and assigning at least some of the fracking fluid from the first disposal site to a second disposal site of the plurality of disposal sites based on the measured seismic waves.

Example implementations relate to collecting data to generate specifications for an orthosis. In example implementations, data may be collected from a plurality of pressure sensors. Histograms may be generated that characterize collected data. Specifications for an orthosis may be generated based on the histograms.

Examples associated with data validation are disclosed. One example includes a sensor attribute data store having information describing attributes of a set of distributed sensors. A pattern data store stores information describing patterns indicating anomalous sensor activity. A data aggregation module flags data received from a tested sensor as anomalous data when the anomalous data exceeds a variance level described by an attribute of the tested sensor. A data validation module validates the anomalous data by comparing the anomalous data to the patterns indicating anomalous sensor activity. A learning module updates the pattern indicating anomalous sensor activity based on a result received from the validation logic after the validation logic validates data received from the tested sensor.

Example implementations relate to receiving vibration notifications from vibration sensors. In example implementations, a subset of a plurality of vibration sensors from which vibration notifications are expected may be identified based on a position of a train along a track. The plurality of vibration sensors may be arranged in a predetermined order on the track. Whether vibration notifications have not been received from consecutive, with respect to the predetermined order, vibration sensors in the subset may be determined.

Example implementations relate to a fiber-shaped device for transmitting a distress signal to a remote computer. The fiber-shaped device includes a sensor, an analysis module that determines if a sensor signal from the sensor includes a trigger signal, and a wireless communication module to transmit a distress signal to a remote computer when the sensor signal includes the trigger signal.

Systems and methods of conducting interoperability assessments provide for generating a feature interoperability matrix based on feature data and interoperability data, wherein the feature data defines a plurality of features of a product and the interoperability data indicates levels of interoperability of the plurality of features. A validation set can be generated based on the feature interoperability matrix, wherein the validation set includes a plurality of feature combinations. A subfeature interoperability matrix can be used to convert the validation set into a test plan for the product, wherein the test plan minimizes test configurations for the product.

Systems and methods of validating multi-feature products can provide for identifying a feature combination for a product, and expanding the feature combination to include additional features only if the additional features are interoperable with all features in the feature combination and the additional features are new to the feature combination. The feature combination and the expanded feature combination may be added to a validation set for the product, wherein the validation set can be used to validate various platform configurations of the product.
