The thickness of the first material mixture layer is preferably equal to or less than the total thickness of the other material mixture layers.

Provided is a fuel cell capable of easily forming an interconnector part electrically connecting adjacent unit cells in a planar array fuel cell. In a membrane electrode assembly, electrode catalyst layers are provided respectively on both surfaces of an electrolyte membrane. Each of the electrode catalyst layers includes polymer electrolyte and catalyst. Chalcopyrite type solar cell

A chalcopyrite solar cell having a mica substrate or a laminated mica substrate, an intermediate layer made of a ceramic-based material formed on the mica substrate, and a binder layer formed on the intermediate layer. The intermediate layer has a thickness equal to or more than 2 &#x3bc;m and equal to or less than 20 &#x3bc;m. The binder layer has a thickness equal to or more than 3000 &#x212b; and equal to or less than 8000 &#x212b;. The intermediate layer and the binder layer are interposed between the mica substrate and a molybdenum electrode.

Chalcopyrite solar cell

A chalcopyrite type solar cell has a mica aggregate substrate formed by binding mica particulates with a resin. A multilayer body consisting of a first electrode, a light absorption layer and a second electrode is formed on the mica aggregate substrate with a smoothing layer and a binder layer interposed between the substrate and the body. The smoothing layer is preferably made of SiN or SiO, and the binder layer is made of TiN or TaN.
