Provided are techniques for organizing a temporary device group for collaborative computing. A list of functions for each of a plurality of devices are stored. A determination is made to form a device group including a receiver device from the plurality of devices, where the receiver device will perform one of the functions. An individual function usage score is generated. In response to the individual function usage score exceeding a device threshold, a request to form a device group is sent to the receiver device. In response to receiving an indication of acceptance to form the device group from the receiving device, the device group is formed for a temporary period, where functions and data are shared in the device group.

Organizing a temporary device group for collaborative computing

A method and a system for event validation on a vehicle. The method includes detecting an event determined by the vehicle. The method can include requesting and receiving external event determination, from at least one external source within a first surrounding area, based on the event. The method also includes generating an internal event determination based on the event and validating a validated event based on the both the external and internal event determinations. The method includes requesting and receiving external drive plan, from the external source within a second surrounding area, based on the validated event. The method also includes generating an internal drive plan, validating a validated drive plan based on the internal and external drive plans, and implementing the validated drive plan.

Event validation using multiple sources

Adjusting inconsistencies and inaccuracies in location perception, one or more computer processors identify data indicating a location of a computing device; detect a subsequent computing device within a threshold proximity to the computing device; receive data indicating a location of the subsequent computing device; determine a first location reliability score for the identified data indicating the location of a computing device and a second location reliability score for the received data indicating the location of the subsequent computing device; calculate one or more location corrective parameters for the computing device based, at least in part, on the identified data indicating the location of the computing device, the received data indicating the location of the subsequent computing device, the first location reliability score, and the second location reliability score; adjust the data indicating the location of the computing device based on the calculated one or more location corrective parameters.

Location correction utilizing vehicle communication networks

An electronic document is obtained as a single unit of display data divided by a display size of a screen into a group of page data sets. A display configured to sense movement of a movable object in a vertical direction relative to the screen is used. The display is configured such that each of the group of page data sets of the electronic document is associated in a sequence with a respective different one of a group of detection levels within a movement detection range of the display. In response to sensing movement using the display, a page data set corresponding to a detection level in the movement detection range is displayed on the screen in accordance with the sensed movement. Display speed changes are automatically adjusted while displaying different ones of the group of page data sets in accordance with a moving speed of the sensed movement.

Displaying an electronic document

Provided are techniques for delegating cloud-side roles to devices. Network quality information is received for a network from one or more devices. It is determined that the network is unavailable in an area from which the network quality information was received. For a new device, a trajectory path of the new device is predicted. It is determined that the new device is about to enter the area based on the trajectory path. One or more software modules and data are identified. The one or more software modules and the data are sent to the new device, wherein the new device executes the one or more software modules to generate one or more insights from the data.

Delegating cloud-side roles to devices

A contact state of a finger with respect to a first displayed object is detected. In response to detecting a double-click operation on the first displayed object at a first position in a depthwise direction, the first displayed object is moved onto a surface of a display screen of a three-dimensional (3-D) display. In response to detecting that the finger has moved from the contact state to a proximity state with respect to the first displayed object, a display position of the first displayed object is changed from the surface of the display screen to a depth position at which a second object is displayed at a nearest side in the depthwise direction among displayed objects. The second object remains displayed at the depth position beside the first object.

Moving an object by drag operation on a touch panel

An embodiment of the present invention provides a computer-implemented method for displaying one or more augmented reality (AR) objects on a transparent display device, comprising: associating data of one or more transparent areas corresponding to one or more real objects with a first layer for seeing one or more real objects on the transparent display device, wherein the data has information on a location and shape of the one or more real objects on the transparent display device, associating one or more AR objects with a second layer for displaying one or more AR objects on the transparent display device; and overlaying the first layer with the second layer to display the one or more AR objects on the transparent display device, wherein the one or more real objects are seen through the one or more transparent areas on the transparent display device by transparent area the transparent display device.

Displaying of augmented reality objects

A computer supports an operation by an operator of a target device. The computer stores a first topology indicating dependency relationship of a plurality of device types including a device type of the target device. The computer generates a second topology indicating dependency relationship of a plurality of devices including the target device, by performing, based on the first topology, a topology discovery for the plurality of devices. Each of the plurality of devices has any one of the plurality of device types. The computer provides an operation sequence of the plurality of devices to the operator. The operation sequence is generated based on the second topology.

Supporting operation of device

An electronic document includes a set of pages. A display is used that is configured to sense movement of a movable object in a vertical direction relative to a screen. In response to sensing movement using the display, a page corresponding to the electronic document is displayed on the screen in accordance with the sensed movement.

A contact state of a finger with respect to a first displayed object is detected. An embodiment of the disclosure displays a plurality of icons for files and a plurality of icons for folders within a graphical user interface. A set of two or more icons can be selected via user input for inclusion within a group object. The group object can be moved within the graphical user interface responsive to user input to within a predetermined range of one of the icons for one of the folders. Responsive to moving, a subset of files of the group object can be determined. Selection of the files within the subset can be based on whether attributes of the folder match attributes of the files. Additionally, responsive to moving the group object, the subset of files can be moved or copied to the one of the folders to which the group object was moved.

Manipulating multiple objects in a graphic user interface

A contact state of a finger with respect to an object displayed on a first layer is detected. The object is moved onto a second layer and displayed on the second layer in response to detecting that the finger has moved from the contact state to a proximity state with respect to the object and in response to the finger reaching a second layer displayed nearer than the first layer.

Embodiments of the present invention relate to dividing and merging documents on a touch panel. A method includes dividing a document displayed on a touch panel having a display function using an information processing device connected to the touch panel. Positions of two different points on the touch panel are identified in response to a user indicating the two different points in the document. The document is divided, by a computer processor, based on a line segment extending from a starting point to an end point of a traced line traced by the user. The line segment is used as a dividing line in response to the user tracing the traced line on the touch panel so as to traverse the two different points.
