The transmission time TXA from station A to B may also be measured using a reflection signal from a transmission terminal.

An inverter apparatus converts a DC power of a capacitor charged via a rectifier circuit connected to a first AC power system into an AC power, and supplies the AC power to a second AC power system. The inverter apparatus includes a discharge circuit, a control circuit, a trigger circuit, a first voltage-sag detection circuit, a control power circuit, and a second voltage-sag detection circuit. When the second voltage-sag detection circuit detects a voltage sag of the control power circuit below a threshold, the trigger circuit generates a discharge command signal for causing the discharge circuit to discharge a charge from the capacitor.

When the bus voltage is lower than the threshold voltage, the circuit breaker control section locks the control command from the cooperative control section.

Power system control apparatus and power system control method

A reactive power control apparatus for an AC power system includes a reactive power compensation device, a compensation capacitor device and a compensation capacitor control device. The compensation capacitor control device includes a detection voltage output circuit which outputs a bus detection voltage after the clearing of a voltage drop abnormality, corresponding to the AC voltage of a system bus after the voltage drop abnormality that occurred in the AC power system has been cleared, and a compensation capacitor control circuit which controls the connection status of a compensation capacitor with respect to the system bus. The compensation capacitor control circuit controls the connection status of the compensation capacitor with respect to the system bus, on the basis of the voltage level of the bus detection voltage after the clearing of the voltage drop abnormality.

A remanufacturing method is disclosed for a process cartridge detachably mountable to a main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, wherein the process cartridge includes first and second frames rotatably coupled relative to each other. The remanufacturing method includes (a) a separating step of separating the first and second frames; (b) a step of dismounting a developing roller mounted in the second frame; (c) a step of peeling off an elastic sealing member for providing a seal between the second frame and the developing roller; (d) a step of sticking a double coated tape on a seat on which the elastic sealing member has been stuck; (e) a step of filling developer into a developer accommodating portion of the second frame; (f) a step of mounting a developing roller to the second frame; and (g) a step of coupling the separated first and second frames.

A remanufacturing method for a process cartridge includes (a) separating a process cartridge into a lower frame member and an upper frame, (b) dismounting the photosensitive drum from the lower frame member, (c) dismounting the developing roller from the lower frame member, (d) sticking magnetic seals on the lower frame member, (e) sticking a blade elastic member at each of one and the other longitudinal ends of the developing blade, (f) mounting the developing roller onto the lower frame member, (g) mounting the photosensitive drum to the lower frame member, (h) refilling the developer into the developer accommodating portion in the upper frame, and (i) connecting an upper frame into which the developer has been refilled with a lower frame member.
