A composition for exhaust gas purification containing Y&#x2014;Mn&#x2014;O and AlOand having a specific surface area (SSA) retention satisfying inequality (1) SSA retention (%) &#x3e;&#x2212;61.54&#xd7;(Y&#x2014;Mn&#x2014;O ratio)+75.55 and inequality (2) SSA retention (%) &#x3e;45 (2), where SSA retention is represented by (SSA after aging)/(initial SSA)&#xd7;100 (%). The SSA after aging and the initial SSA are as defined in the description. The Y&#x2014;Mn&#x2014;O ratio is a mass ratio of Y&#x2014;Mn&#x2014;O to the sum of Y&#x2014;Mn&#x2014;O and AlOin the composition for exhaust gas purification, being represented by Y&#x2014;Mn&#x2014;O/(Y&#x2014;Mn&#x2014;O+AlO).

Exhaust gas purging composition

An exhaust gas purifying composition of the present invention contains zeolite that is BEA zeolite having an SiO/AlOmolar ratio of greater than 25 and 600 or less and containing phosphorus. Furthermore, the exhaust gas purifying composition preferably contains zirconium in addition to phosphorus. Furthermore, the zeolite has an SiO/AlOmolar ratio of from 30 to 150. The present invention provides an exhaust gas purifying composition having excellent HC adsorbability for exhaust gas purification in internal combustion engines such as gasoline engines.

Exhaust gas-purifying composition

The present invention provides an exhaust gas purifying composition containing BEA zeolite containing phosphorus, wherein an amount of phosphorus is such that a molar ratio thereof with respect to Al in the zeolite is 0.5 or greater, and a maintaining factor Rof a specific surface area of the exhaust gas purifying composition after heating at 980&#xb0; C. for 25 hours is 35% or greater. Furthermore, the present invention also provides an exhaust gas purifying composition containing phosphorus-containing zeolite, wherein an amount of phosphorus is such that a molar ratio thereof with respect to Al in the zeolite is from 0.5 to 8, and a maintaining factor Rof a crystallite diameter after heating at 980&#xb0; C. for 25 hours is 50% or greater. The exhaust gas purifying composition of the present invention has excellent HC purifiability for exhaust gas purification in internal combustion engines such as gasoline engines.

A modem transmission level and modem sensitivity which are communication control information corresponding to the connection form of each destination device are registered in advance in a destination information storage unit so as to be correlated with an abbreviated dialing number of the destination. The lubrication between a shoe and a shoe pocket is improved without having to perform a complicated forming process. In a swash plate compressor comprising a swash plate locked to a drive shaft, which rotates together with the drive shaft, a shoethat slidably contacts the swash plate, a pistonslidably disposed within a bore defining a compression space and a shoe pocketthat is formed as an integrated part of the pistonand slidably fits with the shoe, a beveled portionis formed at an edge of an opening at the shoe pocket. A recessed portionof the shoe pocketis formed so as to achieve a constant curvature, whereas a projecting portionof the shoeis formed so as to achieve at least two different curvatures. The shoe pocket is designed so that a tangent pointof the recessed portionand the beveled portionis set within a strip rangeover which the projecting portionand the recessed portionachieve contact with each other.

A muffler including a long outlet pipe having an exhaust gas inlet pipe portion , a return pipe portion , an exhaust gas outlet pipe portion , and two turnaround pipes for connecting the three pipe portions together in series. An active vibration isolating support device for preventing the direct transmission of vibrations from an engine to a vehicle body frame includes an electromagnetic actuator for driving a movable member in a reciprocating fashion to change the capacity of a first liquid chamber. A shaft portion of an armature driven by a coil is supported by a bearing so that it moves along an axis, whereby the size of an air gap can be maintained as small as possible, thereby making it possible to miniaturize the coil. In addition, a connecting rod for connecting the movable member with the armature is supported so as to sway relative to a coil spring and a saucer spring, whereby the vibration of the movable member is prevented from being transmitted to the shaft portion of the armature.

A panel-shaped gas-discharging type display device includes an anode and a cathode having a special shape to enhance discharging in an airtight chamber formed by two substrates. A gas containing an ultraviolet emission gas such as Xe and Kr and a fluophor for emitting a light are put together into the airtight chamber. Because of the shape of the cathode, more discharging occurs than with conventional devices. More ultraviolet emission from the discharging excites the fluophor to create a visible radiation. Therefore, the brightness of the device increases. Since the cathode is coated with an emitter material incapable of absorbing the ultraviolet emission gas, discharging is not obstructed by reduction of the ultraviolet emission gas, and the color of the visible radiation is stably maintained.

A battery box housing at least the storage batteries and the circuit breaker device. The battery box device also has a breaker box housing at least the controller and the circuit breaker device with the storage batteries and the circuit breaker device being separate from each other. A circuit breaker switch is operable from outside of the battery box.

A first display discharge lamp has a transparent airtight container filled with a discharge gas; a positive electrode disposed in the airtight container and supported by a stem having an air tube therein; a negative electrode of an inverted configuration disposed in the transparent airtight container and surrounded by the positive electrode; a lead member integrally formed with the positive electrode, having a bent portion between a lower end of the negative electrode and the stem; and an insulating member disposed between the lower end of the negative electrode and the bent portion of the lead member. The former has at least an open upper end, while the latter has an open upper end and an open lower end. A lower end of the positive electrode is inserted in an interior of the negative electrode from the open upper end of the negative electrode. And, a lower/outer periphery of the positive electrode is, in a non-contact condition, opposed to an upper/inner periphery of the negative electrode.

Display discharge lamp

A riding-type lawn mower has a cutter housing with a rear discharge slot defined in a rear wall thereof. The cutter housing accommodates a pair of cutter blades laterally spaced from each other and rotatable in a substantially horizontal plane. The cutter blades are arranged such that the cutter blade on the righthand side as viewed in a forward direction of the lawn mower body is rotatable clockwise as viewed in plan and the cutter blade on the lefthand side as viewed in the forward direction of the lawn mower body is rotatable counterclockwise as viewed in plan. The cutter housing has an upper wall that has a pair of laterally spaced portions raised upwardly and defining respective discharge passages in the cutter housing that lead to the rear discharge slot. Rotative power from a lawn mower engine is transmitted to the cutter blades by a belt-and-pulley mechanism disposed on a low flat portion defined between the raised portions of upper wall. The cutter housing has a scroll-shaped discharge guide for guiding grass clippings smoothly into the rear discharge slot.
