A cylindrical vibration-damping device wherein an outer cylindrical member is made in a configuration of two sections divided along an circumference, the outer cylindrical member being externally fitted onto intermediate rings in a non-adhesive manner by means of having the intermediate rings sandwiched by the outer cylindrical member in a radial direction, and a plurality of regulating protrusions protruding inward in the radial direction are formed on the outer cylindrical member at a given distance and arranged on both sides of the intermediate rings in an axial direction so as to provide a positioning member that positions the intermediate rings with respect to the outer cylindrical member in the axial direction by means of abutting the intermediate rings against the regulating protrusions in the axial direction.

Cylindrical vibration-damping device

A fluid-filled type vibration damping device including a base component and a tubular mating component. The tubular mating component is externally fitted onto the base component by means of a diameter-constricting caulking with a sealing rubber clasped therebetween so as to constitute a mate-fastened portion. The tubular mating component extends axially outward beyond a sealed section of the mate-fastened portion so as to provide a caulking tube portion. A diametrical position of the tubular mating component at the sealed section is determined by contact of the caulking tube portion against an outside peripheral face of a positioning projection provided on the base component so as to define a diametrical positioning portion. The caulking tube portion is constricted in diameter and held in engagement with an axial edge portion of the positioning projection so as to form an axial positioning portion.

Fluid-filled type vibration damping device and manufacturing method thereof

A fluid-filled type active vibration damping device including: a first mounting member; a second mounting member; a main rubber elastic body connecting the first and second mounting members; a fluid chamber; an oscillation member that partially defines a wall of the fluid chamber; an actuator having an output shaft, the output shaft being connected to the oscillation member; a connecting member that interconnects the oscillation member and the output shaft at one point with the oscillation member superposed against a projecting distal end of the output shaft; and an abutting portion provided by superposed faces of the oscillation member and the output shaft being positioned in abutment with each other at an outer peripheral side of a connected section where the oscillation member and the output shaft are interconnected by the connecting member.

Fluid-filled type active vibration damping device

A second bush of a torque rod is fastened and fixed such that a mating fastening member sandwiches an inner fitting in the axial direction. A rubber stopper on an acceleration side projecting from an outer fitting to the inner fitting is provided such that the rubber thickness increases toward a front end. The inner fitting is provided with a stopper contact forming a recessed space in which the rubber stopper is inserted. After the rubber stopper comes in contact with the stopper contact in a stopper function, the rubber stopper is deformed so as to fill the recessed space, and concurrently bulges in the axial direction to come in contact with the mating fastening member.

Stopper structure of torque rod

A fluid filled type vibration damping device having a pressure-receiving chamber and an equilibrium chamber disposed on either side of a partition member. A movable cover member juxtaposed against the partition member from the pressure receiving chamber side to cover a communicating hole of the partition member. An outside peripheral edge of the movable cover member is held in intimate contact against the partition member through urging force of an elastic retainer portion. Pressure of both chambers will acts on both faces of a movable rubber film, thereby constituting a pressure fluctuation absorbing mechanism. The outside peripheral edge of the movable cover member is separated from the partition member in opposition to the urging force by negative pressure in the pressure receiving chamber for providing a shunting mechanism for preventing excessive negative pressure in the pressure receiving chamber.

Fluid filled type vibration damping device

A fluid filled vibration damping device including: a fluid passage interconnecting a pressure receiving chamber partially defined by a rubber elastic body connecting a first and second mounting members, and an equilibrium chamber partially defined by a flexible film; a movable valve body provided for switching the fluid passage between a communicating state and a blocked state through reciprocating operation; an electric motor employed for actuating the movable valve body; an actuating force converter mechanism provided on an actuating force transmission path from the electric motor to the movable valve body. A rotational actuating force of the electric motor is transmitted as reciprocating actuating force to the movable valve body by the actuating force converter mechanism.

Fluid filled vibration damping device and electric actuator for use in the same

A fluid-filled type vibration-damping device having a movable rubber plate housed within a partition member partitioning a pressure-receiving chamber and an equilibrium chamber from each other. The movable rubber plate is moved owing to the pressure difference between the two chambers. The movable rubber plate comprises the movable rubber plate formed of a generally disk shaped rubber elastic body having formed thereon in alternating fashion concave grooves and convex ribs each extending in a circumferential direction about a same center axis, the convex ribs have tapered cross section gradually narrowing in width towards an distal end thereof, and the concave grooves and convex ribs are disposed at the same locations in a diametrical direction on either face of the movable rubber plate so that the thickness of the movable rubber plate is varied in the circumferential direction.

Fluid-filled type vibration-damping device

A vibration isolator includes a first metallic mounting member; a metallic body member disposed away from the first metallic mounting member in the vibration input direction; an elastic body portion elastically connecting the first metallic mounting member and the metallic body member; and a second metallic mounting member. The metallic body member includes a flange portion protruding radially outward from a part of its end facing the first metallic mounting member and a first protrusion protruding radially outward from the remaining part of the end to a greater extent than does the flange portion. The opposite end of the metallic body member is plugged with a seal member to thereby form a liquid chamber within the metallic body member. The second metallic mounting member is fixedly press-fitted onto the metallic body member and includes a second protrusion. The first and second protrusions are superposed to thereby form a stopper portion. The stopper portion is covered and held by a stopper covering portion.

Liquid-confined vibration isolator

A liquid-filled cylinder-shaped hydraulic vibration isolator includes a main axial fitting, an intermediate cylinder fitting, a rubber elastic body, an outer cylinder fitting, and a sealing rubber. The intermediate cylinder fitting includes a pair of ring members and a bridging member bridging the ring members. The respective ring members include a drawn major-diameter portion, positioned on an outside in the axial direction and subjected to drawing, and a minor-diameter portion disposed inside the drawn major-diameter portion by way of a stepped portion, formed as a smaller diameter than that of the drawn major-diameter portion and having a plurality of slits formed along the peripheral direction. The sealing rubber is fastened to outer peripheral surfaces of the minor-diameter portion and the bridging member so as to enclose window portions, formed in the intermediate cylinder fitting. Thus, as one of the advantages, the durability of the rubber elastic body can be improved.
