A heat exchanger includes a plate fin, a first flat tube intersecting with the plate fin, and a second flat tube opposed to a flat tube lower surface of the first flat tube, the second flat tube being spaced from the first flat tube and arranged so as to intersect with the plate fin. A flat tube windward lateral surface of the first and second flat tubes is located on an inner side of a peripheral edge of the plate fin, which includes an elevated portion formed between the first and second flat tubes and is located between a first imaginary plane, connecting the flat tube windward lateral surface of the first and second flat tubes, and a second imaginary plane, connecting a center of the flat tube lower surface of the first flat tube and a center of the flat tube upper surface of the second flat tube.

The control device determines a frosting condition on the evaporator from an output of the frost detecting means and individually controls the evaporator heating device and the drain-pan heating device in accordance with the determination result.

The foaming power of a 0.02% by weight aqueous solution of the (poly)oxyalkylene adduct (A) as measured at 20&#xb0; C. by the Ross Miles test is not higher than 50 mm.

Method for cleaning, employing a surfactant for fine-bubble formation

A water treatment apparatus dissolving an oxidizer in wastewater at a fast speed and at a high efficiency to decompose substances at a high decomposition rate. The apparatus includes an ultraviolet radiation part having an elongated tubular configuration, and receiving an axially extending ultraviolet radiation unit with a space between an inner peripheral surface of the ultraviolet radiation unit and the ultraviolet radiation unit to pass wastewater; and an oxidizer mixing part disposed adjacent to and upstream of the ultraviolet radiation part for mixing an oxidizer with the wastewater. The ultraviolet radiation unit irradiates the wastewater with ultraviolet light to decompose the substances to be treated in the wastewater.

The residue for attachment of the additional electron transfer groups could be introduced by genetic engineering or generated by chemical modification.
