A program for program editing for editing a program described using a symbol on a program editing screen causes an information processing apparatus to function as input-gesture-characteristic-information acquiring unit for acquiring input gesture characteristic information including coordinate information and a track of the coordinate input on the program editing screen, and as processing executing unit for specifying an operation target and specifying a command applied to the operation target on the basis of the input gesture characteristic information, executing the command, and for displaying the result of execution of the command on the program editing screen.

To support selection of a communication system of a network applied to an FA system of a user, a network selection supporting method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a condition displaying step of displaying, on a condition input screen, one or a plurality of selection conditions set in advance related to the communication system of the network applied to the FA system, a condition receiving step of receiving an input of a selection condition desired by the user among the selection conditions displayed on the condition input screen, a communication system searching step of searching through a communication system database and finding a communication system matching the input selection condition, and a communication system list displaying step of displaying a search result of the communication system on the communication system list display screen as a list.

Network selection supporting method and network selection supporting apparatus

A transmitting apparatus included in a communication system that performs message communication using an error detection code with a receiving apparatus, the transmitting apparatus includes a transmission interval determining means that, based on a parameter related to a transmission error non-detection probability of a message per time, a data length of the message, and a code length of the error detection code used for the message, determines a transmission interval for transmitting the message, so that the transmission error non-detection probability of the message satisfies a condition related to a transmission error non-detection probability included in the parameter, wherein the message is transmitted to the receiving apparatus, based on the transmission interval determined by the transmission interval determining means.

Transmitting apparatus and communication system

A transfer apparatus transmits template information to each of a plurality of input/output units, wherein the template information indicates an area where an individual data relative to the input/output unit is to be stored in a data fragment. A target bit string including the individual data is generated in the input/output unit, based on the template information and an input state of the input/output unit, and is sent to the transfer apparatus. A bit string is created from the target bit strings, without performing bit shift operation, by performing logical operations on the target bit strings, and is transmitted to a controller.

Data collection system

A transfer apparatus receives, from a controller, a bit string including a plurality of individual data addressed to plural input/output units. The bit string is divided into data fragments. The data fragments are specified as corresponding to a target input/output unit. The specified data fragment is processed without performing a bit shift operation, and transmitted to the target input/output unit as a target data fragment. The input/output unit receives and stores template information that indicates an area within the target data fragment where the individual data is stored. The individual data is extracted from the target data fragment based on the template information.

Data distribution system

A transmitter simultaneously notifies a start of providing identification codes to controlled devices using a first identification code provision start signal. A delay unit transmits a second identification code provision start signal to only the controlled device adjacent to a controller. After a level detector detects the first and the second identification code provision start signals, an ID provider provides identification codes to the controlled device. A delay unit sequentially transmits the second identification code provision start signal and an identification code provision end signal to the controlled device adjacently connected at a farther side from the controller than from the self device.
