A rotary connector includes a case including a housing space and fixed to a vehicle body that includes a steering wheel including a steering-side electric component, a rotor that is rotatable around a rotational axis relative to the case, a first connector provided on the rotor and electrically connected to the steering-side electric component, a second connector provided on the case and electrically connected to a vehicle-side electric component in the vehicle body, a flexible cable that is provided in a wound state in the housing space of the case and electrically connects the first connector to the second connector, and a controller that is disposed between the first connector and the flexible cable and performs a predetermined process on an electric signal transmitted between the first connector and the flexible cable. The controller is configured to rotate together with the rotor.

The low power consumption type automobile-mounted controller comprises: a microcontroller unit having a power supply port, a voltage detection port, a control port, a communication port, and an input port; a first power supply path connected to the automobile-mounted power source through a change-over switch for turning ON/OFF the power supply port; a second power supply path for connecting the power supply port to the automobile-mounted power source through a controllable switch; and power open/close command means for turning ON/OFF the controllable switch in response to a power close command signal or a power open command signal, and operates in such a manner that on receipt of the power open command signal while the first power supply path is intercepted by turning OFF the change-over switch, the power open/close command means turns OFF the controllable switch to intercept the second power supply path.

Low power consumption type automobile-mounted controller

The present invention relates to a high-reliability vehicle mounted device control apparatus capable of making a decision about functions of switch units with a simple structure and at a high processing speed and a low cost. Each of the switch units comprises a circuit substrate having a required circuit pattern formed to include a plurality of pairs of short-circuiting possible land portions, and a switch mounted on the circuit substrate so that any one of the plurality of pairs of land portions are short-circuited selectively to set a switching function inherent to that switch unit. Any one selected from the switch units is mounted in one of the unit mounting sections, and the switch of that switch unit is turned on. A switch unit decision section constituting a control section detects the land portions short-circuited to automatically make a decision about the kind of a switching function of the mounted switch unit.

The motor driving apparatus comprises a plurality of motors for displacing the position of the control object member, semiconductor switch pairs, a plurality of motor driving units for connecting the motors to the power supply and a control unit for ON/OFF controlling the semiconductor switch pairs. The motors form two sets of motors with each set being formed of two motors. One end of the motors and forming each set is connected to the common motor driving unit having the semiconductor switch pair and the other end of the motors and forming each set is connected to the motor driving units having the semiconductor switch pairs in each set. When the motors of each set are driven simultaneously, the control unit turns ON and OFF two semiconductor switch pairs and drives the motors of each set on the time division basis to provide inverse output polarities of the two semiconductor switch pairs connected to the motors of each set. Thereby there is provided a low price motor driving apparatus that has reduced the total number of motor driving units using the motor driving units having the semiconductor switch pairs.

Motor driving apparatus for controlling plurality of motors with less motor driving units than motors

A seesaw type switch including a switch housing, a first lever pivotably connected to the switch housing about an axis, and a second lever pivotably connected to the switch housing about the axis. The first lever is pivoted independent of the second lever to press a movable contact against a fixed contact, and similarly the second lever is pivoted independent of the first lever to press a movable contact against a fixed contact. Also disclosed is a switch apparatus incorporating three seesaw type switches and includes a pair of interlocking members which are used to actuate two of the switches simultaneously.
