A regenerative burner including: a combustion chamber; a heat exchange chamber; and a communication passage therebetween, the combustion chamber includes a tip of a fuel nozzle and a flame ejection port, and is configured such that fuel introduced from the fuel nozzle into the combustion chamber can be burned in the combustion chamber using combustion air introduced into the combustion chamber through the communication passage to eject flame from the flame ejection port; the fuel nozzle is configured such that fuel burned in the regenerative burner is introduced into the combustion chamber; and the heat exchange chamber comprises a heat accumulator interposed between the communication passage and an air port, and is configured such that combustion air can pass through the heat accumulator and then be introduced into the combustion chamber such that an exhaust gas passes through the heat accumulator and is discharged from the air port.

A continuous heating furnace including an inlet, a heating zone, a cooling zone and an outlet in this order, for carrying out a heat treatment while conveying at least one workpiece from the inlet to the outlet, wherein the cooling zone is configured such that an ambient gas for direct cooling of the workpiece can flow into the cooling zone from the outlet; the cooling zone includes a plurality of indirect coolers arranged in parallel in the conveying direction of the workpiece, each of the indirect coolers having at least one regulator for independently adjusting a cooling power; and the cooling zone includes one or more residual heat outlets for discharging a residual heat gas in the cooling zone.

Continuous heating furnace and operating method thereof

A method for treating the surface of the inner wall of a furnace, said inner wall being lined with ceramic fibers, involves placing a source generating an alkali component in a furnace for firing a material into a product, in which at least the inner wall is lined with a ceramic fiber body, and heating the interior of the furnace to vaporize the alkali component, thereby impregnating the surface layer portion of the ceramic fiber body with the thus vaporized alkali component.
