In a heating apparatus for heating the air sucked into a gas turbine by a heat exchanger, the temperature fluctuation of the heated air is suppressed even in the period, for which a steam source to be fed to the heat exchanger is changed. For suppression, a heat exchanger is fed with both a self-can steam, the feed rate of which is controlled by a self-can steam control valve, and the auxiliary-steam, the feed rate of which is controlled by an auxiliary-steam control valve. At starting time, the quantity of the auxiliary-steam is reduced at a constant rate, and that of the self-can steam is increased while a feedback control and a feedforward control are being made. At stopping time, the quantity of the self-can steam is reduced at a constant rate, and that of the auxiliary-steam is increased while the feedback control and the feedforward control are being made.

Apparatus for controlling intake air heating of gas turbine

An object of the present invention is to provide a method of starting and stopping a gas turbine and a start-and-stop control device, which are capable of solving a problem of a failure in normally igniting a fuel gas due to a purge gas (nitrogen gas) remaining in a fuel gas pipe and thereby igniting the fuel gas stably. For this purpose, the start-and-stop control device performs control at the time of starting the gas turbine by sequentially performing: first exhaust gas duct purge for pushing out a fuel gas remaining in an exhaust gas duct with compressed air from a compressor; fuel gas pipe purge for pushing out nitrogen gas remaining in a fuel gas pipe between a fuel gas shutoff valve and a combustor at the time of stopping the gas turbine by the fuel gas by opening a fuel gas shutoff valve; and second exhaust gas duct purge for pushing out the fuel gas remaining in the exhaust gas duct at the time of the fuel gas pipe purge by the compressed air from the compressor, and then the fuel gas is supplied to the combustor by opening the fuel gas shutoff valve again and ignited.

Method of starting and stopping gas turbine and start-and-stop control device

Extremely cold (e.g., &#x2212;20&#xb0; C.) air A is heated by a heat exchanger, which is supplied with steam S via a control valve, and heated air A' is taken into a gas turbine. The valve opening degree of the control valveis feedback-controlled so that the deviation between the measured temperature tand the target temperature TO of the heated air A&#x2032; is eliminated. Further, when the number of revolutions, N, of the gas turbineincreases, or when an IGV opening degree OP increases, the valve opening degree of the control valveis feedforward-controlled in accordance with the increase in the number N of revolutions or the increase in the IGV opening degree OP. By so doing, the temperature of air A&#x2032; can be maintained at a temperature enabling stable combustion without delay in control, and intake air can be heated without delay in control, even at the start of the gas turbine or during change in the opening degree of an inlet guide vane.

Intake air heating control device for gas turbine

A gas turbine has a plurality of combustors in a toroidal arrangement to provide combustion gases to turbine blades, thereby rotating the turbine body. Thermocouples, the number of which is the same as or greater than the number of the combustors, are arranged toroidally at the outlets of the turbine blades and measure the temperatures of the combustion gases at the respective outlets. During the operation of the gas turbine, if an abnormality, such as misfire or fuel injection nozzle obstruction, occurs in one or more of the combustors, the resulting change in gas temperature triggers a signal to stop, and thereby protect the gas turbine. Based on the measured values of the blade pass temperatures of the thermocouples and set threshold temperatures, a fuel supply system may be caused to gradually decrease the fuel supplied to the combustors to bring the gas turbine body to an automatic stop, or it may be cut off instantaneously, thus immediately stopping the gas turbine.

Gas turbine protection device

A gas turbine load control device includes load setting means, first bias setting means, second bias setting means, target output setting means, and so forth. The target output setting means sets up a target output by adding a positive side bias value to a load set value when the load setting means gradually increases the load set value in response to an increase in a requested load set value inputted from requested load setting means. The target output setting means sets up the target output by subtracting a negative side bias value from the load set value when the load setting means gradually decreases the load set value in response to a decrease in the requested load set value.

A turbine plant includes a steam turbine, a gas turbine connected to the steam turbine, a generator, and an analyzing apparatus. The steam turbine includes a high pressure steam turbine, an intermediate pressure steam turbine, and a low pressure steam turbine. The turbine plant is adapted to be driven by a selected one of natural gas and oil. The analyzing apparatus collects estimates of the steam turbine output based on the inlet steam pressure of the intermediate steam turbine with a correction value. The correction value is calculated including the influence of the difference between the gas fuel case and the oil fuel case. The analyzing apparatus estimates a gas turbine output by calculating the difference between the estimated steam turbine output and the total output of the turbine plant. The gas turbine is operated using the estimated gas turbine output.

Dual fuel type combined turbine plant and method for operating the same

A gas compressor control device and a gas turbine plant control mechanism are disclosed. A fuel gas pressurized by a gas compressor is supplied to a gas turbine via fuel gas piping. A gas turbine control device adjusts the flow rate of the fuel gas into the gas turbine by exercising opening and closing control of a pressure control valve and a flow control valve. The gas compressor control device controls a fuel gas pressure at the outlet of the gas compressor by effecting opening and closing control of a recycle valve and an IGV. If load rejection or load loss occurs, the gas compressor control device opens the recycle valve in a preceding manner and closes the IGV in a preceding manner. Thus, elevation of the fuel gas pressure at the gas compressor outlet can be prevented, and elevation of a fuel gas pressure at an inlet of the gas turbine can be suppressed, thereby ensuring stable operation.

Gas compressor control device and gas turbine plant control mechanism

An operation control apparatus and an operation control method for a single-shaft combined plant are provided. A clutch is engaged and disengaged, whereby a gas turbine (power generator) is connected to and disconnected from a steam turbine. The opening of IGV is controlled by an opening command, the opening of a burner bypass valve is controlled by another opening command, and the openings of fuel flow control valves are controlled by other opening commands found based on a pilot ratio. The commands to the IGV and the burner bypass valve and the pilot ratio are found during an isolated operation in which only the gas turbine is operated, during a joint operation in which the gas turbine and the steam turbine are both operated, during a transition from the isolated operation to the joint operation, and during a transition from the joint operation to the isolated operation. Thus, the pilot ratio and the fuel-air ratio of the gas turbine are optimized according to the state of operation, so that whether the clutch is disengaged or engaged, the combustion state of the gas turbine is stabilized.

A gas turbine power generation plant is controlled by a controller while operating status data of the gas turbine power generation plant are collected by a data logger computer , and transmitted to a central load dispatching instruction station via the Internet . A computer evaluates the deteriorating rate of the gas turbine based on the operating status data, and calculates an optimal target load taking the deteriorating rate into account. The optimal target load is transmitted via an exclusive telecommunication line to the controller , and the output of the gas turbine power generation plant is controlled based on this optimal target load.

Integrated operation instructing system for operating power generation plants

A single-shaft combined plant having an emergency shut-off oil system is provided. The emergency shut-off oil system is constituted such that when a steam governing valve tripping electromagnetic valve is opened, only a steam turbine is stopped; a master tripping electromagnetic valve is connected to a fuel gas control valve emergency shut-off oil line, a fuel oil control valve emergency shut-off oil line, and a steam governing valve emergency shut-off oil line via check valves; and when the master tripping electromagnetic valve is opened, both the steam turbine and a gas turbine are stopped. Thus, only the steam turbine can be stopped. Even if a tripping valve provided on the fuel gas control valve emergency shut-off oil line or the fuel oil control valve emergency shut-off oil line does not open because of a breakdown, the gas turbine can be stopped reliably.
