An inclination of a weighing apparatus is automatically detected by the apparatus itself while preventing an increase in the number of components. In order to achieve the object described above, a weighing apparatus includes a weight sensor, a built-in weight to be loaded on the weight sensor, an adding/removing unit for adding/removing the built-in weight, a memory storing a theoretical value of the built-in weight, and an arithmetic processing unit, wherein the arithmetic processing unit includes an inclination angle computing unit configured to obtain an apparatus inclination angle from an arc-cosine of a weighing value of the built-in weight and the theoretical value of the built-in weight.

Inclination detecting method and apparatus for the same

Provided is an overload prevention mechanism having a structure that protects a weight sensor with a floating action and ensuring the reproducibility of the return position of the weight sensor. The overload prevention mechanism has a resilient member that is interposed between the weight sensor and the case, supports the weight sensor in a pressing manner against the case, and when a certain plate load or greater is imposed causes the weight sensor to separate from the case and thereby be released from the load, a guide member that is arranged in a standing manner between the weight sensor and the case, and a guide receiving seat that is provided in the weight sensor or the case and engages with the guide member.

Overload prevention mechanism

Provided is a mass sensor including a four-corner-adjusting-mechanism capable of reducing the sensitivity of four-corner adjustment without reducing the rigidity of a Roberval mechanism. A mass sensor () includes a Roberval mechanism () in which a floating frame () and a fixing frame () are connected by upper and lower sub-frames () having thin portions () formed thereon, and a four-corner-adjusting-mechanism () to perform parallelism adjustment. The four-corner-adjusting-mechanism () includes an adjusting screw (), and an upper elastic member () and a lower elastic member () disposed in series in the vertical direction so as to sandwich the sub-frame () to be subjected to parallelism adjustment.

Mass sensor

An integral type second lever constituting member (A) is mounted on a constitution, in which a first lever member () is assembled in a Roberval's mechanism composed of a stationary block (), a floating frame () and upper and lower sub-levers (). The integral type second lever constituting member (A) is mounted by mounting a force point portion () and a fulcrum portion () on the Roberval's mechanism through screw-fastened holes (), thereby to assemble a load measuring mechanism as a whole. At the screw-fastening time, the turning torque of the screw is supported by a connecting portion (), and this connecting portion () is removed after the integral type second lever constituting member (A) was mounted. In the load measuring mechanism of an electronic balance, the second lever member can be mounted easily and reliably.
