A power transmission device includes: a high speed magnet rotor which includes a magnet array which is magnetized in a radial direction; a low speed magnet rotor which includes a magnet array which is magnetized in a circumferential direction; and an inductor rotor which allows magnetic fluxes from the magnet array of the high speed magnet rotor to pass, and the high speed magnet rotor, the low speed magnet rotor and the inductor rotor are concentrically arranged and the magnet array of the low speed magnet rotor is formed such that homopolar surfaces of neighboring magnets face each other in the circumferential direction.

Power transmission device

The inductor type rotary motor of m-phase (m represents an integer of 2 or more) includes a stator in which distal ends of teeth are circularly disposed, and a rotor having an inductor tooth that faces each of the distal ends of the teeth through a constant gap. The stator includes k&#xb7;m teeth (k represents an integer of 1 or more), at least one permanent magnet is disposed at each of the teeth, and adjacent permanent magnets, which belong to teeth adjacent to each other, are disposed in such a manner that different polarities face each other.

Inductor type rotary motor

A linear motor includes a field core, a stator that includes a plurality of permanent magnets disposed on the field core, and an armature core that includes an armature winding wire, the armature core being disposed via a magnetic void with the permanent magnets. Assuming that a length of the armature core in a traveling direction of the linear motor is Lc, a pitch of the permanent magnets is &#x3c4;p, and N is a natural number, the length Lc of the armature core is specified by (N&#xd7;&#x3c4;p&#x2212;0.2&#xd7;&#x3c4;p)&#x2264;Lc&#x2264;(N&#xd7;&#x3c4;p+0.2&#xd7;&#x3c4;p).

Linear motor

An interior magnet linear induction motor includes an armature and a line of inductor teeth. The armature includes coils arranged between a plurality of teeth, and the line of inductor teeth is arranged so as to face the armature and includes a plurality of tooth portions arranged at a constant pitch in a linear stroke direction. An end portion of each of the plurality of teeth has a shape such that magnetoresistance of the tooth increases toward the root side. At least one permanent magnet is arranged at an end portion of each of the plurality of teeth and adjacent permanent magnets that are arranged at different teeth are magnetized such that opposite magnetic poles face each other.

Interior magnet linear induction motor

A rotational-linear motion converter includes a cylindrical magnet rotor, a linear rail, a teeth row, and a magnet row. The magnet rotor includes a magnet row magnetized in a radial direction of the magnet rotor. The rail includes a plurality of projecting portions and recessed portions. The teeth row includes teeth and allows a magnetic flux flowing from the magnet row of the magnet rotor to pass between the magnet rotor and the rail. The magnet row includes magnets and is magnetized in an extending direction of the rail in order to align the magnetic flux flowing from the magnet row of the magnet rotor toward the projecting portions and the recessed portions of the rail. In the magnet row magnetized in the extending direction of the rail, the same polarity faces of adjacent magnets oppose each other in the extending direction of the rail.

Rotational-linear motion converter

The present invention provides a shaft rotary type linear motor that enables a movable element to rotate and linearly move by using a simple structure, and can therefore support compact, space-saving and lightweight designs. The shaft rotary type linear motor includes: a shaft; an outer cylinder; a hollow movable element having a plurality of permanent magnets within the outer cylinder; an armature surrounding the hollow movable element and having a plurality of coils; and a frame containing the armature. The shaft is supported by a rotatable and linearly movable linear guide.

Shaft rotary type linear motor and shaft rotary type linear motor unit

A moving magnetic field generating apparatus includes a magnet array including magnets disposed at a first pitch such that N and S poles of adjacent magnets in the magnet array are alternated, and first and second magnetic pole piece arrays extending along the magnet array to interpose the magnet array therebetween with a gap from the magnet array. The first and second magnetic pole piece arrays are disposed with a predetermined phase difference therebetween. The first magnetic pole piece array includes first magnetic pole pieces disposed at a second pitch in an array and each having a length enough to face at least two adjacent magnets in the magnet array. The second magnetic pole piece array is configured similarly to the first magnetic pole piece array. One of the first and second magnetic pole piece arrays and the magnet array is relatively moved to the other at a predetermined speed.

Electric apparatus with moving magnetic field generating apparatus

An electric machine that allows enhancement of thrust of a mover is provided. An electric machine includes a magnetic pole piece array including a plurality of magnetic pole pieces spaced along a permanent magnet array. The magnetic pole pieces are disposed between the permanent magnet array and winding portions in immovable relation with the winding portions. The pitch of permanent magnets and the pitch of magnetic pole pieces are determined such that magnetic flux flows through two of the permanent magnets magnetized in the same direction and located in the permanent magnet array with one permanent magnet interposed between the two permanent magnets, and also flows through one of the magnetic pole pieces facing the one permanent magnet interposed between the two permanent magnets and magnetized in a direction of magnetization different from the direction of magnetization of the two permanent magnets.

Electric machine with linear mover

Provided herein is a linear motor in which a back yoke can readily be mounted onto a plurality of linear motor units. The back yoke is constituted from a back yoke assembly including a surrounding portion that entirely surrounds six linear motor units. The back yoke works to form part of respective magnetic circuits of the six linear motor units. The back yoke assembly includes first and second divided assemblies and five partition wall portions. The first and second divided assemblies are each formed by press working a magnetic plate made of silicon steel.

An armature of a linear motor includes a plurality of cooling pipe storage holes formed along a longitudinal direction of a core, and a plurality of cooling pipes stored vertically in the cooling pipe storage holes and having a meander shape. The cooling pipes vertically adjacent to each other are arranged such that inlets and outlets of the cooling pipes are alternately connected in parallel to a refrigerant inlet and a refrigerant outlet in order to allow a refrigerant to flow in the reverse direction.

An electric machine includes a magnetic pole piece array including a plurality of magnetic pole pieces spaced along a permanent magnet array. The permanent magnet array is in immovable relation with winding portions. The pitch of a plurality of permanent magnets and the pitch of a plurality of magnetic pole pieces are determined such that magnetic flux flows through two of the permanent magnets magnetized in the same direction and located in the permanent magnet array with one permanent magnet interposed between the two permanent magnets, and also flows through one or two of the magnetic pole pieces facing the one permanent magnet interposed between the two permanent magnets and magnetized in a direction of magnetization different from the direction of magnetization of the two permanent magnets.

A low-cost magnetic encoder that facilitates generating sinusoidal magnetic flux is provided. First and second permanent magnet arrays each include a plurality of permanent magnets arranged such that magnetic poles having the same polarity face each other, and magnetic yokes disposed on side surfaces of the plurality of permanent magnets. The permanent magnets and the magnetic yokes are arranged side by side at a predetermined pitch in the moving direction of a magnetic piece array. First and second magnetic detectors corresponding to the first and second permanent magnet arrays are disposed in a positional relationship allowing detection of leakage magnetic flux generated when the permanent magnet arrays and the magnetic piece array are displaced with respect to each other.

A mover includes a permanent magnet array including permanent magnets magnetized in a perpendicular direction perpendicular to a motion direction of the mover such that magnetic poles having different polarities alternately appear on magnetic pole surfaces of the permanent magnets along the motion direction. A stator includes first and second magnetic pole portion assemblies disposed on both sides of the permanent magnet array in the perpendicular direction and each including magnetic pole portions facing the magnetic pole surfaces, and a single phase winding that excites the magnetic pole portions forming the first and second magnetic pole portion assemblies. The winding has a hollow structure formed by winding a winding conductor into a coil such that the magnetic pole portions included in the first magnetic pole portion assembly and the magnetic pole portions included in the second magnetic pole portion assembly are located in an internal space of the winding.

Electrical machine apparatus

A stator core unit of a linear synchronous motor is divided into a plurality of divided cores. The divided cores each include a pair of connected portions. The pairs of connected portions are disposed along a first direct drive shaft and a second direct drive shaft to form a pair of connected portion arrays.
