There is provided a rotating electric machine stator manufacturing method for forming a resin film on coil film peeled-off portions of a rotating electric machine stator by liquid resin material, the method including: an immersion process of immersing the coil film peeled-off portions of the rotating electric machine stator in the liquid resin material; and a heat curing process of heat curing the liquid resin material after release of the immersing to form the resin film, wherein the liquid resin material has thixotropy; and the immersion process includes a process of causing the rotating electric machine stator to move in a direction other than a vertical direction at least once at least while the coil film peeled-off portions are immersed in the liquid resin material.

A vehicular lamp is capable of projecting light in a forward direction and light in a direction different of the projection lens from the forward direction. The vehicular lamp includes: a light source () that emits light forward, and a projection lens () that projects light emitted from the light source () forward. The projection lens () includes a first lens surface () located on a side facing the light source (), and receiving light emitted from the light source (), a second lens surface () located on a side opposite to the first lens surface () to output received light forward, and an output portion () located on an outer peripheral side surface between the first lens surface () and the second lens surface () and configured to output a part of light (L') having been incident on and entered through the first lens surface () in a direction different from the forward direction.

The vehicular lamp includes a control part for outputting a control signal indicating light luminous intensity emitted from a light source and a light source driving part for driving the light source based on the control signal, where the light emitted from the light source driven by the light source driving part repeats a predetermined luminous intensity change pattern at a predetermined cycle, and where the predetermined luminous intensity change pattern includes a first section where the luminous intensity is increased instantaneously from a lowest to a highest value, a second section where the luminous intensity is maintained at the highest value, a third section where the luminous intensity is decreased from the highest to the lowest value, and a fourth section where the luminous intensity is maintained at the lowest value.

A vehicle lamp emits red light from a second light emitting area by lighting a tail/accessory lamp while emitting red light from a first light emitting area during a lighting of a tail lamp. Meanwhile, the vehicle lamp lights out the tail/accessory lamp while emitting orange light from the second light emitting area during a lighting (flickering) of a turn lamp.

A vehicle lighting fixture can effectively utilize an inner space of a lighting chamber defined by a housing and an outer lens for the formation of an optical path, so that the light can be projected through the entire surface region of the outer lens. A reflector can extend forward and obliquely downward and can be arranged below a mounting substrate on which LEDs are mounted. An extension can be arranged in front of an LED substrate holder and the reflector. The extension can have a mirror-finished reflecting rear surface, and include a window hole portion positioned in front of the reflector, a curved portion configured to extend from an upper edge portion of the window hole portion upward and obliquely forward, and an annular flange portion configured to extend from respective outer rim portions of the window hole portion and the curved portion rearward.

A lighting fixture projects light sideward and has no restriction in design. The lighting fixture can include an LED; a primary lens disposed in an optical axis of the LED, the primary lens being configured to form a main light distribution; an auxiliary lens disposed on an outer peripheral side of the primary lens around the optical axis of the LED; and a reflecting portion configured to reflect part of light emitted from the LED to substantially an entire area of the auxiliary lens on an inner peripheral surface side thereof. The vehicle lighting unit can include a reflector having, as a front surface, a concave reflecting surface formed on the basis of a revolved parabolic surface with respect to an optical axis serving as a rotational symmetric axis; a reflecting plate disposed along the optical axis in front of the reflecting surface and having a rear edge disposed at or near the focal point of the reflecting surface so as to vertically divide a space in front of the reflecting surface into two regions; a light emitting element disposed in the upper region than the reflecting plate and in front of the focal point, directed to the focal point; and a condenser lens disposed between the light emitting element and the focal point, configured to collect light emitted from the light emitting element to a position at or near the focal point.

A motor including a stator and rotor. The stator includes a stator core, slot portions and coils. The stator core includes stator core pieces with teeth portion having a distal end portion and two side portions, a yoke portion, and a claw portion formed at one of the two side portions. At the distal end portion, the stator core pieces are connected so that claw portions protrude in the same circumferential direction to form the stator core into a cylindrical shape. The slot portions are formed between adjacent teeth portions and between the stator core pieces. The coils form three phases which are inserted into the slot portions, are bridged between two of the slot portions and include end portions that protrude from an edge face of the stator core in an axial direction. The coils are arranged so that the end portions are intersected with each other.
