The electronic controller is configured to control the motor. The electronic controller is configured to decrease an upper limit value of an output of the motor in an up-shift operation. The electronic controller is configured to decrease the upper limit value in a down-shift operation. The electronic controller is configured to control the motor so that the upper limit value in the up-shift operation performed between two predetermined ones of the shift stages that differ in the transmission ratio by one stage differs from the upper limit value in the down-shift operation performed between the two predetermined ones of the shift stages.

Control device for human-powered vehicle

A human-powered vehicle control device includes an electronic controller configured to control a motor to drive a transmission body with the motor and operate the transmission body with a derailleur to perform a shifting action that changes the transmission ratio in a case where a crank axle is stopped. The electronic controller includes a first control state in which the shifting action is performed and a second control state in which a driving force of the motor during the shifting action is reduced compared to the first control state. The electronic controller shifts the control state to the second control state in a case where a rider is riding the human-powered vehicle and the human-powered vehicle is stopped. The electronic controller shifts the control state from the second control state to the first control state in a case where a predetermined condition is satisfied.

The detector is configured to detect information relating to a running condition of the human-powered vehicle indirectly indicative of a pedaling state of the human-powered vehicle. The electronic controller is configured to output a control signal to adjust an operating state of the suspension in accordance with the information detected by the detector. The additional detector is configured to detect additional information relating to at least one of a riding posture of rider riding the human-powered vehicle and a terrain condition. The electronic controller is configured to output the control signal to adjust the operating state of the suspension in accordance with the information in combination with the additional information.

Suspension control system for suspension of human-powered vehicle

A human-powered vehicle control device is provided for controlling a human-powered vehicle. The human-powered vehicle control device includes an electronic controller that controls a human-powered vehicle component in accordance with a control state including first and second modes. The electronic controller changes a transmission ratio of a transmission device in accordance with a first shifting condition in the first mode, and changes the transmission ratio in accordance with a second shifting condition in the second mode. The electronic controller changes the first shifting condition in accordance with a converging reference value, which is related to a traveling state of the human-powered vehicle, for a case where the human-powered vehicle is in a riding converging state in the first mode, and changes the second shifting condition in accordance with a converging reference value for a case where the human-powered vehicle is in the riding converging state in the second mode.

A human-powered vehicle control device controls the transmission that changes the transmission ratio of a human-powered vehicle. The control device includes an electronic controller that switches between a first control state for controlling the transmission to change the transmission ratio in accordance with a first prescribed set of conditions, and a second control state for controlling the transmission to suppress the change of the transmission ratio as compared with if the electronic controller is in the first control state, in accordance with at least one of a steering state of the human-powered vehicle, a surface condition of a travel path on which the human-powered vehicle travels, and a pedaling preparation state related to the pedals of the human-powered vehicle.

The controller controls the transmission device between first, second, and third control states. The controller switches from the first to the second control state if the vehicle state becomes the predetermined state. The controller switches from the first to the third control state if a human driving force input to the human-powered vehicle becomes greater than a predetermined driving force during the predetermined period. Shifting of the ratio is more restricted in the first control state than the second and third control states.

A human-powered vehicle control device includes an electronic controller that controls a transmission device to shift a ratio of a rotational speed of a wheel to a rotational speed of a crank axle in stages. The controller controls the transmission device so that the transmission device performs a first shifting action that shifts the ratio by only one stage in a case where a shifting condition is satisfied. The transmission device is controlled by the electronic controller so that the transmission device performs a second shifting action that shifts the ratio by two or more stages in a case where the shifting condition is satisfied and a vehicle state of the human-powered vehicle is a predetermined state. The predetermined state includes a state in which a change amount of a parameter related to the vehicle state is a predetermined amount or greater.

A human-powered vehicle includes a crank axle, a first rotational body, a wheel, a second rotational body, a transmission body that transmits a driving force between the first rotational body and the second rotational body, a derailleur configured to operate the transmission body to change a transmission ratio, and a motor configured to drive the transmission body. A control device has an electronic controller configured to control the motor and drive the transmission body with the motor so as to change at least one of a rotational angle of the motor and an output torque of the motor in correspondence with a state of the human-powered vehicle upon determining the derailleur has been actuated to change the transmission ratio and a predetermined condition related to pedaling is satisfied.
