N (n is a natural number) power converters operate in accordance with a drive signal to generate a power to be supplied to a load. Multi-redundant A/D converters convert an analog detection value from the power converters into digital values. First and second controllers operate in parallel and each generate a drive signal of the power converters using the digital values from the A/D converters. A system selector selects one controller in accordance with an abnormality detection result of the first and second controllers. Each of n output selectors receives the drive signals from both of the first and second controllers and outputs the drive signal from the one controller selected by the system selector to the power converters.

Power conversion device

The DC/DC converter circuit includes: a primary-side circuit configured to convert DC power from a DC power source into a pulse voltage; an isolation transformer configured to transform the pulse voltage while isolating the pulse voltage; a secondary-side circuit connectable in a switching manner by a switching circuit to one of a rectifier circuit for a high-voltage low-current output mode or a current doubler circuit for a low-voltage high-current output mode; and a control circuit configured to perform connection switching control of the switching circuit so as to establish, depending on target supply power, connection to the rectifier circuit in the high-voltage low-current output mode, and connection to the current doubler circuit in the low-voltage high-current output mode.

DC/DC converter circuit and electric propulsion power source

An operation processing unit computes an amount of operation for adjusting electric power supplied to a load. A signal generator computes, based on an amount of operation, the number of switch elements to be turned on among switch elements and a duty ratio to be set for the number of switch elements to be turned on and generates, based on the determined number of switch elements and duty ratio, a signal for driving at least one of the switch elements. The signal generator includes a correction value operation unit that obtains a correction value based on a difference of an on-pulse width between a shunt current flowing through a corresponding one of the switch elements and a shunt drive signal for driving the corresponding one switch element, and a corrector that corrects, based on the correction value, an amount of operation output from the operation processing unit.

Power controller

A power controller includes: a plurality of switching elements provided in one-to-one correspondence with a plurality of power supplies, and each of which switches on or off to switch between supplying and stopping supplying a load with electric power from a corresponding one of the plurality of power supplies; a processing unit which computes an operation amount for adjusting an amount of the electric power supplied to the load; and a signal generator which determines, for each control, a switching-element count indicating a total number of switching elements to be turned on among the plurality of switching elements, and a duty ratio of the switching-element count, based on the operation amount, and generates a drive signal for driving the plurality of switching elements successively, based on the switching-element count and the duty ratio.

A power conversion apparatus () includes a plurality of power conversion units () each having a function of converting an input direct current voltage to a different direct current voltage, and a control unit () that controls the plurality of power conversion units () in accordance with a target value Vaim for the sum of voltages output from the plurality of power conversion units (). When making one or more of the power conversion units () output a first voltage which is fixed and making a different one of the power conversion units () output a second voltage which is adjusted in accordance with the target value Vaim, the control unit () repeatedly switches a power conversion unit () to output the second voltage at least between two of the power conversion units ().

Power conversion apparatus and electric propulsion system

A DC voltage conversion circuit in which the miniaturization of the inductor is attained and the frequency of control band can be widened, by suppressing the ripple current which flows into the inductor using a general magnetic core without using a special multi-leg magnetic core. A DC voltage conversion circuit is provided with two sets of magnetic flux cancellation conversion circuits each of which is provided with two sets of series circuits of two semiconductor circuits, a first magnetic flux cancellation type transformer, and a inductor; a second magnetic flux cancellation type transformer connected to the two sets of magnetic flux cancellation conversion circuits; and a control circuit which controls switching devices of semiconductor circuits.
