When a drive shaft is in a non-drive state, a second drive rotor is in a non-engaged state with a driven rotor with respect to its own rotating direction. When the drive shaft is in a drive state, a rotating force of a first drive rotor is transmitted to the second drive rotor through an urging member. As a result, a power transmitting member revolves, and a centrifugal force arranges the power transmitting member at a second clamping position. The second drive rotor receives a reaction force from a driven rotor via the power transmitting member. As a result, the second drive rotor is relatively rotated in an opposite direction to a rotating direction of the first drive rotor with respect to the first drive rotor, against an urging force of the urging member. As a result, the first drive rotor is engaged with the driven rotor with respect to its own rotating direction. Accordingly, the clutch is stably operated.

Clutch, motor device, and vehicle door opening and closing apparatus

A door closing system for locking and unlocking a door using a single actuator has a motor, a latch to be engaged with a door striker and a driving cam for driving the latch. An output shaft of the motor is disposed in parallel with a shaft which rotatably holds the latch and the driving cam, thereby reducing an installment space of the latch and the driving cam. Further, the actuator has plural reduction gears rotated by the motor, and a pattern is disposed on a surface of one of the reduction gears. First to third contacts are disposed to slide on the pattern, thereby producing detection signals of a rotation position of the reduction gear. An operation state of the door closing system is detected according to the detected rotation position of the reduction gear. Thus, the door closing system can be controlled accurately with a single detection sensor.

Door locking-unlocking system for vehicle

An electric actuator reciprocates an output shaft driven by an electric motor in a linear manner. The actuator has a main body case. A rotating body supported by the case includes a pin rotating body, a gear wheel, and a coil spring. The gear wheel is meshed with a pinion that is fixed to the drive shaft of the electric motor. The rotation of the gear wheel is transmitted to the pin rotating body by the coil spring. The pin rotating body includes a rotary shaft. The rotary shaft has a pair of guide pins provided on its outer surface. A cylindrical cam is fixed to the output shaft, which is supported by the case. The cylindrical cam includes a spiral guided portion defined on its inner surface. The guided portion slides against both guide pins of the rotary shaft. The drive force of the electric motor rotates the rotary shaft by means of the gear wheel and the coil spring. As the rotary shaft is rotated, the output shaft is reciprocated along the rotary shaft with the guided portion guided by both guide pins.

Electric lock actuator

An actuator is disclosed, which comprises a drive motor, a rotary member to be rotated by the drive motor, and a plunger for reciprocating in its axial direction. The plunger has a first and second guide portions formed thereon. The actuator further comprises a guiding member held in the rotary member. The guiding member includes a first spiral guide surface for guiding the first guide portion therealong to move the plunger in a direction to protrude it, a second spiral guide surface for guiding the second guide portion therealong to move the plunger in a direction to retract it, a first position regulating surface for regulating the retraction of the plunger when it contacts with the first guide portion, and a second position regulating surface for regulating the protrusion of the plunger when it contacts with the second guide portion.
