An air-conditioning device includes: a compressor; an outdoor heat exchanger; an evaporating unit configured to evaporate refrigerant a heater unit configured to heat the air by using the heat of the refrigerant a liquid receiver arranged at the downstream side of the outdoor heat exchanger and a restrictor mechanism provided between the heater unit and the outdoor heat exchanger, wherein, in an operation state in which the flow of the refrigerant is restricted by the restrictor mechanism and heat is released in the heater unit, a first operation mode and a second operation mode are switched, the first operation mode being set such that the liquid-phase refrigerant is stored in the liquid receiver and the gaseous-phase refrigerant is guided to the compressor and the second operation mode being set such that the liquid-phase refrigerant stored in the liquid receiver is guided to the evaporating unit.

Air-conditioning device

A vehicle air-conditioning device includes: a first coolant-water circulation path in which coolant water passes through an engine; a second coolant-water circulation path that is communicated with the first coolant-water circulation path and in which the coolant water passes through a vehicle-cabin radiator; a shutting off mechanism that shuts off, when switched to a shut-off state, the communication between the first coolant-water circulation path and the second coolant-water circulation path; and a refrigeration cycle. The refrigeration cycle has: a compressor for compressing cooling medium; a secondary evaporator in which the cooling medium absorbs heat from the coolant water in the first coolant-water circulation path; a secondary condenser that releases heat of the cooling medium that has absorbed the heat at the secondary evaporator to the coolant water in the second coolant-water circulation path; and a secondary expander that decompresses the cooling medium that has passed through the secondary condenser.

Vehicle air-conditioning device

An engine exhaust apparatus includes an exhaust passage for flowing exhaust gas emitted from an engine, a flow rectifier for rectifying the flow of the exhaust gas, and an exhaust heat recovery unit disposed in the exhaust passage downstream of the flow rectifier. The exhaust heat recovery unit is provided with an exhaust heat recovery portion and a cooling portion to cool the exhaust heat recovery portion. The engine exhaust apparatus further includes a first diameter reducing portion gradually reduced in diameter toward the exhaust heat recovery unit from the flow rectifier, and a second diameter reducing portion gradually reduced in diameter toward the downstream from the exhaust heat recovery unit.

Engine exhaust apparatus

An exhaust device of an engine, with an exhaust path to lead exhaust gas discharged from the engine to outside, the exhaust device comprising: an exhaust heat collector being configured to collect heat from the exhaust gas, and a cooling part being configured to cool down the exhaust heat collecting part from an outer peripheral side via a cooling fluid; and an exhaust gas flow controlling member in a cylindrical shape, comprising an inlet part and an outlet part where the inflow of the exhaust gas is discharged to an upstream side of the exhaust heat collecting part. An opening diameter of the outlet part is arranged to be smaller than an outer diameter of the exhaust heat collecting part. The exhaust gas flow controlling member is placed so that an open end of the outlet part opposes a central portion of an upstream end plane of the exhaust heat collecting part. The open end of the outlet part and the upstream end plane of the exhaust heat collecting part are a predetermined distance apart.

A thermal management system for an electric vehicle that is used in the electric vehicle driven by an electric motor includes a refrigerant loop for an air conditioner, a refrigerant loop for a battery that allows a refrigerant for the battery to circulate among the battery, an evaporating unit and a heating device, and thermal management controlling means that, during charging of the battery, heats the refrigerant for the battery by using the heating device when temperature of the refrigerant for the battery is lower than target temperature of the refrigerant for the battery, and that allows the refrigerant for the air conditioner to circulate and to absorb heat from the refrigerant for the battery, in the evaporating unit, when the temperature of the refrigerant for the battery is higher than the target temperature of the refrigerant for the battery.

Thermal management system for electric vehicle and its control method

A Rankine cycle includes a refrigerant pump, a heat exchanger, an expander and a condenser. The Rankine cycle further includes a clutch provided in a power transmission path extending from an engine to the refrigerant pump. Prior to the operation of the Rankine cycle and during the deceleration of the vehicle, the clutch is fastened and the refrigerant pump is driven with use of the vehicle inertia force.

Rankine cycle

A vehicle air conditioning system includes a duct, a refrigerant evaporator, an air conditioning cooling flow passage, a heater core, a heater hot fluid flow passage, a heat exchanger, an electric heater, an electrical component cooling flow passage, a communication flow passage, a fluid temperature sensor and a flow passage selector valve. The duct provides air to a vehicle cabin interior. The cooling flow passage provides cooled refrigerant to the evaporator. The hot fluid flow passage provides hot fluid to the heater core. The heat exchanger exchanges heat between the refrigerant and the hot fluid. The heater warms the hot fluid having undergone heat exchange. The cooling flow passage cools an electrical component. The communication flow passage parallelly connects the hot fluid and electrical component flow passages. The valve allows hot fluid to flow into the cooling flow passage when the hot fluid has a high temperature.

Vehicle air conditioning system

A waste heat utilization apparatus is provided with a Rankine cycle and a power transmission mechanism that transmits power regenerated by an expander to an engine. The power transmission mechanism includes an expander clutch that interrupts or permits the transmission of the power from the expander to the engine. The expander includes a rotational speed sensor that detects a rotational speed of the expander. An increase in friction of the expander is detected on the basis of an increase in the rotational speed of the expander detected by the rotational speed sensor when the expander clutch is disconnected.

Air conditioner for vehicle

A refrigerant relief device for a vehicle air conditioner according to the present invention is provided with a detection section detecting an impact applied to the vehicle and a relief section relieving a refrigerant at a high pressure side of an air conditioning cycle of the vehicle air conditioner to the outside of the vehicle air conditioner when the sensor detects the impact.
