This electric shaver has outer blades, inner blades, an inner-blade joint component, and skin-entry prevention parts. The outer blades have outer-blade holes. The inner blades have main inner-blade walls, multiple blade pieces, inner-blade holes, and internal inner-blade spaces. The inner blades move back and forth relative to the outer blades so as to cut hair that has entered through the outer-blade holes. The main inner-blade walls are connected to the inner-blade joint component. The internal inner-blade spaces are bounded by the main inner-blade walls and the multiple blade pieces. The skin-entry prevention parts are located inside the internal inner-blade spaces, at positions that correspond to the inner-blade holes, and are structured so as to contact skin that has entered the internal inner-blade spaces via the inter-blade holes.

Electric shaver

A cleaning device of a hair removing apparatus having a hair clipping unit for removing hair includes a cleaning basin for accommodating the hair clipping unit therein; a fluid circulating mechanism for supplying or recovering cleaning fluid into or from the cleaning basin; a drying mechanism for drying the hair clipping unit in the cleaning basin after the hair clipping unit is cleaned; and a controller for controlling the fluid circulating mechanism and the drying mechanism. The controller transmits a control signal to the hair removing apparatus to drive the hair clipping unit while the drying mechanism is being operated.

Cleaning device of hair removing apparatus

A linear oscillating actuator gives a smooth reciprocatory movement with a minimum of incidental vibrations or stresses. The actuator includes an oscillator carrying a permanent magnet as well as an output shaft which is adapted to be connected to drive a load, and a stator assembly carrying an electromagnet. The electromagnet generates a magnetic field which interacts with the permanent magnet to reciprocate the oscillator relative to the stator assembly in a linear path. A spring link is provided to resiliently support the oscillator to the stator assembly with a gap distance left therebetween for allowing the oscillator to reciprocate in the linear path. The spring link is configured to deform resiliently also in a direction other than along the linear path so as to allow the oscillator to move to and away from the stator assembly or to twist relative to the stator assembly. Thus, the spring link can absorb incidental stresses or displacements from which the oscillator may suffer in the directions other than along the linear path, assuring to give a smooth reciprocatory movement to the oscillator with a minimum of fatigue accumulated in the spring link.

Linear oscillating actuator

A reciprocating linear actuator capable of reciprocatingly driving a plurality of movable elements (and) by a single stator (). The movable elements (and) are connected to each other through a connection body () having a spring characteristic to be capable of displacement in the reciprocating direction of the movable element. The connection body () has such a shape that can be drawn with a single stroke on a two dimensional plane, and at least both ends thereof are connected to the movable elements (and), respectively. Since the connection body () is made of a flat spring, it requires less space for installation as compared to a connection body formed of a coiled spring. Further, since the entire connection body has an effective spring characteristic, a relatively smaller size is required for the connection body to provide a required spring characteristic. The less installation space for the connection body () is advantageous to a reduction in size of the linear actuator.

Reciprocating linear actuator

There is provided a magnetic impact tool comprising a magnetic hammer driven by a motor, a magnetic anvil disposed so as to face the magnetic hammer, an output shaft that rotates together with the magnetic anvil, a magnetic bypass device for distributing magnetic flux between the magnetic anvil and the magnetic hammer, and a changing device for changing the distribution of magnetic flux with the magnetic bypass device, wherein a rotational impact force is magnetically generated in a non-contact manner for the magnetic anvil in conjunction with the rotation of the magnetic hammer. The torque generated between the magnetic hammer and magnetic anvil can be changed by varying the distribution ratio of the magnetic flux from the magnetic hammer to the magnetic anvil and magnetic bypass device by the changing device. Impact action can be generated, and screw tightening and loosening work can be carried out even if a low-torque motor is used. Magnetic impact action can be carried out and the load applied to operator's arm can be lightened even when working with a low-load screw wherein the load torque does not exceed.

Magnetic impact tool

An improved self-oscillation system for a linear oscillatory actuator composed of a stator and a reciprocator. The stator carries a winding to which an electric current is periodically supplied for making a resonant oscillation of the reciprocator. The system includes a self-oscillation circuit for continuing the resonant oscillation of the actuator by a positive feedback manner based upon a back electromotive force (Vbemf) appearing across the winding. The system further includes a PWM control for increasing the electric current in response to a decreasing oscillation amplitude due to an increasing load applied to the reciprocator. A detector circuit is included to monitor the oscillation amplitude of the reciprocator and provides a corresponding detector output in response to which the self-oscillation circuit provides a drive pulse of varying pulse width for making the PWM control. The detector circuit is connected to monitor Vbemf of the winding in the absence of the electric current and to judge the instant oscillation amplitude of the reciprocator based upon the monitored Vbemf. Thus, the system can eliminate an external sensor, yet assuring the PMW control reliably based upon Vbemf correctly reflecting the actual oscillation of the reciprocator.

Self-oscillation system for driving a linear oscillatory actuator around its resonant frequency

A hemadynamometer has an air bag designed for attaining oppression or ischemia of radial artery only without oppressing ulnar artery, with a length of the bag made, when the bag is wound on a user's wrist on its radial side starting from such hard organization area as tendons on palm side of the wrist through the radial artery, to reach at least styloid process of radius but not to reach the ulnar artery, and with a width set for locally oppressing the radial artery at least substantially right above the styloid process of radius in longitudinal direction of the wrist.

Hemadynamometer

An actuator driving circuit is provided for a positive feedback amplification, through an amplifier, of a counter electromotive force generated in a stator coil of a linear actuator, for continuating a reciprocating movement of a moving element by self-oscillation of the linear actuator, and for an application of a periodic voltage to the stator coil, while the voltage is made sinusoidal if required, so as to render the driving circuit to be high in the driving efficiency and small in dimensions.

Driving circuit for oscillatory actuator

A compact fluid control valve effects a reliable fluid flow regulation by the use of a shape memory alloy wire. The valve comprises a barrel provided with a base member and a valve body. The valve body is cooperative with the base member to define therebetween a valve opening in the course of an internal flow path through the valve for a fluid. The valve body is movable towards and away from the base member to vary the valve opening for regulating the flow of the fluid. A bias spring urges the valve body for varying the valve opening in one direction. The shape memory alloy wire connects the valve body to the barrel to move the valve body against the bias spring for varying the valve opening when heated. The barrel has anchor members for securing the ends of the wire. The anchor members are disposed on the exterior of the barrel and at such a portion that the wire stretches between the barrel and the valve body exteriorly of the barrel in an overlapping relation with a major portion of the barrel along the axial length thereof. Thus, the wire can be kept substantially away from the internal flow path of the fluid and consequently kept thermally unaffected thereby for a reliable flow regulation. Further, since the wire overlaps with the barrel, the entire valve can have a reduced axial dimension and be therefore made compact enough to be installed in a limited space.

Flow control valve

A miniature diaphragm pump comprises a motor having an output shaft rotating about its axis, an eccentric pin fixed in eccentric relation to the axis of the output shaft, a drive member connected to the eccentric pin to be driven thereby to reciprocate in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the output shaft, at least one pump chamber disposed radially outwardly of the drive element with respect to the axis of the output shaft and having inlet and outlet valves. Each pump chamber has one diaphragm surface with a rigid joint rod and is connected with the drive member through the joint rod. The reciprocating motion of the drive member is transmitted to each pump chamber such that one pumping action including a compression step and an inflation step is provided to the respective pump chamber during one revolution of the eccentric pin about the output shaft. In addition, since the drive member is reciprocated in the direction perpendicular to the output shaft, it is not necessary to take a large space between the motor and each pump chamber for obtaining the reciprocating motion of the drive member, so that the diaphragm pump as a whole becomes to be small.

A constant-speed exhaust valve device has a valve body of a cylindrical shape opened at both axial ends, and a push means disposed to apply an axial compressive force to the valve body, whereby the exhaust speed of the device can be made steady and manufacturing yield of the device is made excellent.

A bedsore-preventing air mattress controller provided with an air pump for generating a magnetomotive force in a plurality of stages proportional to the feed air amount of the pump, and with an electric switch for changing over the magnetomotive force of the pump and integrally assembled with an air shut-off valve for discharging and halting air, whereby the controller arrangement is simplified to effectively reduce the required number of parts for lowering manufacturing costs.
