It is an object of the present invention to provide a washing machine capable of advantageously sanitizing a boot with cleaning air. A tubular member () of a boot attachment () is inserted in the boot () with a sufficient clearance, and an upper end portion () of the tubular member () is exposed from a top (B) of the boot (). A second lower vent () provided in a lower portion of the tubular member () is directed to a toe portion (C) in the boot (), and a first intermediate vent () and a second intermediate vent () are provided in a vertically intermediate portion of the tubular member (). Cleaning air supplied into a drum () of the washing machine is smoothly introduced into the tubular member () of the boot attachment () by the upper end portion () to flow down through the tubular member (). The cleaning air flows out of the tubular member () through the first intermediate vent (), the second intermediate vent () and the second lower vent () to spread inside the boot (). Thus, the inside of the boot () is sanitized with the cleaning air.

The inventive washing/drying machine is capable of cleaning water while performing a laundry process, and uses water filtered by a filter for dehumidification in a drying process, thereby achieving water saving. The washing/drying machine () includes a washing tub (), a water circulation passage () through which water is circulated from the washing tub (), a circulation pump () provided in the water circulation passage, a filter unit () for filtering the water circulated through the water circulation passage to trap foreign matter, a gas-liquid mixer () for mixing cleaning air containing ozone generated by an ozone generator () with the circulated water, a drying air duct () for use in the drying process, air blowing/heating means () for circulating air from the washing tub () through the drying air duct () in the drying process, a duct water supply passage () for supplying the water filtered by the filter unit () to the drying air duct () for dehumidification, and a drying pump () for pumping out the water filtered by the filter unit () through the duct water supply passage.
