A flat antenna with a simplified feeder point is provided. The flat antenna consists of a round patch antenna section, a dielectric material, a grounded conductive plate. The patch antenna section is arranged so as to confront the grounded conductive plate via the dielectric material. The center conductor of a coaxial cable is inserted into the opening formed in the grounded conductive plate and further penetrates the dielectric material of a thickness of t. The center conductor is electrically connected with the feeder point P of the patch antenna section. The outer conductor of the coaxial cable is connected to the grounded conductive plate. The center conductor has the inductive impedance L added by the penetration length of the dielectric material. Improved matching characteristics can be provided by setting the resonance frequency of the patch antenna section to a higher frequency than receive frequencies and by adding a capacitive impedance to the impedance of the feeder point.

A display-integrated tablet device capable of improving luminance of an image displayed while carrying out coordinate detection plural times during a one-image-plane display period. X-coordinate detection is carried out in a manner to take, in an X-coordinate detection section, a voltage obtained by feeding each of second gate electrodes with a pulse generated in a pen-pulse generation circuit. Y-coordinate detection is carried out by inputting a voltage obtained by outputting of a pulse for scanning Y-electrodes (lines) from a stylus pen to a Y-coordinate peak detection circuit. After coordinate detection is thus executed, only Y-electrodes in a predetermined range about a Y-coordinate previously detected are scanned in a Y-coordinate detection period provided after each of block display periods defined by dividing an image display period.

Display-integrated tablet device

A display-integrated tablet device is disclosed and is capable of increasing an actual display period to improve luminance of an image displayed. An actual image display period in a one-image-plane display period is divided into a plurality of block display periods and a detection period is provided before or after each of the block display periods. During the detection period, a pulse for detection is generated from a stylus pen and a voltage obtained at each of electrodes is input to each of X- and Y-coordinate detection sections and held in those sections for coordinate detection. The device includes scan-side switch sections for respectively connecting X- and Y-scan drivers to X- and Y-electrodes, and detection-side switch sections for respectively connecting X- and Y-coordinate detection sections to the X- and Y-electrodes, so that the scan-side switches sections and detection-side switch sections are turned on and turned off during an actual display period, and turned off and turned on during a detection mode period, respectively.

Display-integrated tablet device providing coordinate detection

A fluorescent display device capable of significantly narrowing intervals between picture cells without narrowing an interval between each adjacent two control electrodes to exhibit a display with high resolution and simplifying its structure. The fluorescent display device includes a signal generating circuit for supplying control electrode drive signals different in voltage to a pair of selected control electrodes to control a display.

A code regenerative system is disclosed which is capable of increasing a noise resistant property of code transmission to improve a bit error rate, to thereby accomplish code transmission substantially free of an error without degrading the transmission efficiency. The system comprises a clock pulse regenerative section for stably regenerating a clock pulse train from an input pulse train and a code regenerative section for integrating an input pulse every regenerative clock pulse only for a code discrimination term to carry out the comparison between an integration signal obtained and a reference voltage, to thereby generate a regenerative code.
