A vehicle driving apparatus including: a fluid pump; a rotary member; a bearing supporting the rotary member; a pump cover covering the fluid pump; a relief valve; and a casing storing the fluid pump, the rotary member, the bearing, the pump cover and the relief valve. The casing includes a casing body and a casing cover. The casing cover defines a fluid passage that is in communication with an outlet port of the fluid pump, and includes cylindrical-shaped first and second boss portions. The first boss portion includes a supporting portion supporting the rotary member through the bearing which is fitted in a space radially inside the first boss portion. The second boss portion defines a valve room that is in communication with the fluid passage, with the relief valve being stored in the valve room.

Vehicle driving apparatus

A structure for cooling a rotating electrical machine includes: an oil pump, a supply oil passage connected to a discharge port of the oil pump, and a first oil passage that is an oil passage located above a stator of the rotating electrical machine in a vertical direction and that has a supplied portion, a discharge hole, and a discharge portion. The supplied portion is connected to the supply oil passage. The discharge hole is formed on a first side in an axial direction, which is one side in the axial direction of the rotating electrical machine with respect to the supplied portion and is configured to discharge oil toward the stator. The discharge portion is formed on the first side with respect to the discharge hole. A second oil passage is formed inside a rotor shaft to which a rotor of the rotating electrical machine is fixed, and a third oil passage connects the discharge portion of the first oil passage and the second oil passage. The third oil passage is formed along a first wall of the case which is located on the first side with respect to the rotating electrical machine.

Structure for cooling rotating electrical machine and vehicle drive device

In a power transmitting system of a vehicle including a differential gear device including a differential shaft; a first oil pump; a first oil strainer connected to the first oil pump; a second oil pump; a second oil strainer connected to the second oil pump; and a casing within which the engine drive shaft, the differential gear device, the first and second oil pumps, and the first and second oil strainers are accommodated, such that the engine drive shaft and the differential shaft of the differential gear device are spaced apart from each other in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, the first and the second oil strainers are disposed between the engine drive shaft and the differential shaft of the differential gear device in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and are spaced apart from each other in an axial direction of the engine drive shaft.

Vehicular power transmitting system

An apparatus includes a case, a motor, a gear mechanism, a lubrication mechanism, and a cooling mechanism. The motor and the gear mechanism are housed in the case. The gear mechanism includes a specified gear and a first gear. A vertical lower section of the first gear is positioned above a surface of the oil. The lubrication mechanism lubricates the gear mechanism by the oil thrown up by the specified gear. The cooling mechanism includes an oil pump and a pipe. The oil pump and the pipe supply the oil reserved in the case to the motor. The pipe is located above the first gear. The pipe has a hole, and the oil discharged from the hole. The hole is positioned above the first gear. A normal line direction of the hole differs from a vertically downward direction. The first gear does not overlap the normal line direction.
