An LLC resonant converter in which a capacitor (Cr), an inductance (Lr), and a power line between the capacitor (Cr) and the inductance (Lr), which constitute a series resonance unit, are resin-encapsulated by a resin. Because the series resonance unit that is a high voltage portion is resin-encapsulated collectively, it is possible to shorten an insulation distance even in the case of higher voltages and frequencies, and to prevent an increase in size.

Power converter

A charging device includes an AC/DC converter, a first DC/DC converter, a second DC/DC converter, and an inductance element. The AC/DC converter is connected to an external power source and configured to convert AC power into DC power. The first DC/DC converter is configured to convert a voltage the DC power outputted from the AC/DC converter and supply the resultant DC power to a first battery. The second DC/DC converter is connected in parallel to the first battery on the output side of the first DC/DC converter, and configured to convert a voltage of the DC power outputted from the first DC/DC converter and supply the resultant DC power to a second battery. The inductance element is provided between the first DC/DC converter and the second DC/DC converter, and connected in series to the first DC/DC converter and the second DC/DC converter.

Charging device and on board power supply device

A resonance power conversion device includes a bridge circuit, a transformer, a current detection circuit, and a control circuit. The bridge circuit includes a plurality of switching elements and receives a DC power. The transformer is connected to an output side of the bridge circuit. The current detection circuit detects a value of a current flowing through at least one of the plurality of switching elements. The control circuit determines whether or not an abnormality is occurring in the resonance power conversion device, based on the value detected by the current detection circuit at a predetermined time during a switching control.

Resonance-type power conversion device and abnormality determining method

The self-resonant frequency fr of the secondary coil, which is measured with the primary coil of the transformer being open, is equal to the driving frequency fd or a frequency in the vicinity of the driving frequency fd. Dielectric barrier discharge lamp lighting device

A dielectric barrier discharge lamp lighting apparatus includes twenty-four dielectric barrier discharge lamps, and a ballast circuit for lighting the twenty-four dielectric barrier discharge lamps which includes a DC power supply, an inverter circuit, a step-up transformer, and a lighting lamp number detecting circuit. The lighting lamp number detecting circuit detects the number of normally lighting dielectric barrier discharge lamps based on a first peek appearing right after polarity change of an approximate rectangular wave provided from the step-up transformer. When the detected number is less than a predetermined value, the operation of the ballast circuit is controlled to be stopped.

An electrodeless discharge lamp is disclosed that comprises a bulb with a substance for electric discharge sealed therein, the bulb having a reentrant portion protruding inwardly along a Z-axis direction; an induction coil arranged in the reentrant portion, the induction coil having a magnetic core and a winding wound around the magnetic core; and a drive circuit for supplying the induction coil with a power from 50 kHz to 1 MHz. The bulb has an outer diameter from 65 mm to 75 mm in a direction orthogonal to the Z-axis direction, and the magnetic core has a length L in the Z-axis direction that is 1.05 times or more a length L' of the winding in the Z-axis direction, the length L being set to 41 mm or less.

An electrodeless self-ballasted fluorescent lamp includes an electrodeless fluorescent lamp, a ballast circuitand a lamp base which are formed as one unit. The ballast circuitincludes: an AC-DC converter; a DC-AC converterformed so as to intermittently drive the electrodeless fluorescent lamp; and a dimming controllerformed so as to detect the turn-on of a phase-controlled AC voltage and output an intermittent command signal for changing the ratio between an operating period and an extinguishing period to the DC-AC converter. Electrode-less discharge lamp lighting apparatus, bulb-shaped electrode-less fluorescent lamp, and discharge lamp lighting apparatus

A discharge lamp operating apparatus or a compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp includes: an AC/DC conversion unit for converting an alternating voltage phase-controlled by a dimmer into a direct current voltage; a DC/AC conversion unit for converting an output from the AC/DC conversion unit into a high frequency voltage and applying the high frequency voltage to a discharge lamp, whereby the discharge lamp is intermittently operated; and a dimming control unit which generates a dimming instruction signal for driving the DC/AC conversion unit so that the discharge lamp performs an intermittent operation and outputs the dimming instruction signal to the DC/AC conversion unit via a photocoupler , and synchronizes the timings of turn-ON and turn OFF of the phase-controlled voltage with the timings of turn-ON and turn OFF of an operation of the DC/AC conversion unit , respectively.

Electrodeless discharge lamp operating apparatus, electrodeless compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp and discharge lamp operating apparatus

A self-ballasted electrodeless discharge lamp of the invention is provided with a discharge vessel filled with discharge gas, the discharge vessel having a cavity portion, a coil inserted into the cavity portion of the discharge vessel, a ballast circuit for supplying high frequency power to the coil, and a lamp base that is electrically connected to the ballast circuit, wherein the discharge vessel, the coil, the ballast circuit, and the lamp base are configured as a single unit, and a reflective tape for reflecting light that is radiated from the discharge gas and emitted from inside the discharge vessel to its cavity portion side is wound around the coil.

Self-ballasted electrodeless discharge lamp and electrodeless discharge lamp operating device

The invention provides a self-ballasted fluorescent lamp provided with a function for operating normally when the self-ballasted fluorescent lamp is inadvertently connected to a lighting fixture provided with a light bulb dimmer if the dimmer is at the maximum level, and with a function for reliably stopping operation of the ballast circuit if the dimmer is in a dimmed state and thereby latch the lamp in an unlit state and protect the ballast circuit. Even if the self-ballasted fluorescent lamp is connected to a power source via a light bulb dimmer, when a current detected by a current detection circuit exceeds a predetermined current value, a stop circuit stops operation of an inverter circuit and latches it in that stopped state in order to maintain the self-ballasted fluorescent lamp in an unlit state.
