A display device according to an embodiment of the invention includes an image display unit for the left eye, an image display unit for the right eye, a main frame which supports the image display unit for the left eye and the image display unit for the right eye, and a position adjusting unit which adjusts positions of the image display unit for the left eye and the image display unit for the right eye with respect to the main frame. The position adjusting unit adjusts a gap between the image display unit for the left eye and the image display unit for the right eye, and respectively adjusts a position of the image display unit for the left eye with respect to the main frame, and a position of the image display unit for the right eye with respect to the main frame independently.

An image processing device generates image data of a projection image displayed on a screen having a color obtained by correcting a color of original data representing an image to be displayed so that the projection image has a desired color. The image processing device includes a storage section adapted to store a spectral reflectivity of the screen, a designation section adapted to designate a type of an outside light in an installation environment of the screen, a correction light determination section adapted to determine a correction light using a spectral distribution of the reflected light obtained based on the spectral reflectivity and a spectral distribution of the outside light, and a color correction section adapted to generate the image data using the original data and data of a spectral distribution of the correction light.

A light source device includes a light emitting tube having a light emitting section that emits light, a first sealing section on one side of the light emitting section formed integrally with the light emitting section, and a second sealing section on the other side of the light emitting section formed integrally with the light emitting section. A secondary reflecting mirror having a secondary reflecting surface covers part of a periphery of the light emitting section and reflects light emitted from the light emitting section. An optical device according to an aspect of the invention includes: a plurality of optical elements; a base which supports the plurality of optical elements; and a plurality of element holders which holds the plurality of optical elements and each includes a holder side flow passage for cooling liquid to flow therein, the plurality of element holders holding the plurality of optical elements to connect the plurality of optical elements and the cooling liquid flowing in the holder side flow passage in a heat transferable manner. The base includes a plurality of plate members which are layered on each other to form at least one base side flow passage for the cooling liquid to flow therein. The plurality of element holders and the base can be connected to each other, so that the holder side flow passage and the at least one base side flow passage communicate with each other.
