A worm wheel is installed inside a wheel accommodation chamber of a body casing; a motor is fastened by screws from the right side perpendicular to the axis line of the worm wheel, thus forming a motor fastening part; and a worm fixed to an output shaft of the motor is engaged with the worm wheel. A board accommodation chamber is formed so as to be adjacent to the right of the wheel accommodation chamber, and a control board is inserted inside the board accommodation chamber from below. The control board is disposed so as to be inclined in a direction in which the upper end of the control board is displaced toward the wheel accommodation chamber from an erect attitude perpendicular to the axis line of the output shaft of the motor, and thus the upper end is separated from the motor fastening part in the direction of the axis line of the output shaft.

Motor unit equipped with decelerator

An annular sensor magnet to be fixed to a motor shaft by a press-fit includes an annular portion having magnetic poles alternately formed in an outer peripheral portion. The annular sensor magnet also includes a fixing portion extending from an inner peripheral portion of the annular portion toward a center to support and fix the motor shaft having been press-fit, and a stress reducing portion for reducing stress caused in a contact portion of the fixing portion that contacts the motor shaft when the motor shaft is press-fit onto the fixing portion. The sensor magnet includes a bonded magnet in which a magnetic material is dispersed in a plastic material.

Provided is a decelerator-equipped motor unit which can achieve cost reductions in the control board and improvement of both mechanical and electrical reliability through a particular arrangement of elements on the board, thereby achieving a smaller size by realizing an appropriate board shape without increasing the size of the unit.

A sensor magnet holder is used to fix a sensor magnet to a motor shaft. The sensor magnet holder includes a press fitting part to which the motor shaft is press fitted; a holding part provided radially outside the press fitting part to hold the sensor magnet; and a joint part that joins the press fitting part and the holding part. The joint part is configured such that at least a part of the joint part is deflected by an external force.

A motor apparatus includes a sensor magnet configured to rotate integrally with a drive shaft of a motor; a housing including a sensor housing section in which the sensor magnet is located; a pulse output board including a magnetically permeable base and a rotation detection element mounted on a mounting surface of the base and adapted to detect rotation of the sensor magnet and output a pulse; and a terminal electrically connected with the pulse output board, wherein the terminal includes an insertion slot into which the pulse output board is inserted, and the insertion slot opens to the sensor housing section, and when the pulse output board is inserted, the insertion slot supports the pulse output board in a neighborhood of the sensor magnet with a reverse surface on a side opposite the mounting surface of the base facing the sensor magnet and electrically connects the pulse output board.

Motor apparatus

A gearbox includes: a gearbox main body made of resin that constitutes a part of a speed reducer to which a motor is mounted; and a terminal that conducts power supplied from an external source to the motor. The gearbox main body includes a through hole formed to correspond to a mold that is used to maintain a position of the terminal while the terminal is being integrated with the gearbox main body by insert molding. The through hole may function as a vent hole in the gearbox main body.

Gearbox, motor with speed reducer, and method for manufacturing gearbox

A gear box includes a gear box body of a reducer to which a motor is mounted. The gear box body includes a worm, wheel holding section where a worm wheel of the reducer is held, and a motor holding section, where a part of the motor is contained, the motor holding section having a motor mounting opening. The motor holding section is configured such that a bottom of the motor holding section is provided in a region between a line L1 and a line L2. Here, the line L1 passes through the center C of the worm wheel holding section and is perpendicular to the axis line X of a motor shaft. The line L2 is a tangent line passing through an outer edge portion located near a circular outer peripheral wall of the worm wheel holding section on a motor side and is perpendicular to the axis line X of the motor shaft.

Gearbox, and method for manufacturing the same

A sensor magnet holder is mounted on a motor shaft, and a sensor magnet is provided relative to a magnetic induction sensor on the non-moving side for obtaining a signal indicative of a rotational position of the motor shaft. The sensor magnet holder integrally forms a cylindrical portion, a flange portion of a terminal end of the cylindrical portion having a large diameter, a magnet rear end holding portion of the other terminal end of the cylindrical portion and a plurality of snap fit board portions. A shaft press fit portion is formed on an internal diameter of the flange portion. The plural snap fit board portions extend from the cylindrical portion in an axial direction of the motor shaft. A magnet front end holding portion is formed at an extending tip over an outer diameter surface of each of the snap fit board portions. Each of the flexible snap fit board portions snuggly contacts the inner flat surface of the sensor magnet while the sensor magnet is held between said magnet rear end holding portion and said magnet front end holding portion.
