A train equipment management system includes an information collection apparatus that collects individual identification numbers for identifying devices from identification tags attached to the devices installed in a train, collects device operation information indicating an operating condition of each device, and transmits, for each device, the individual identification number, the device operation information, a car number for identifying a car in which each device is installed, and a formation number for identifying the train, to a ground system; and the ground system that manages the formation number, the car number, and the device operation information in association with the individual identification number of each device.

An object is to enable wireless communication between a portable terminal and on-board devices, and enable wireless connection to a train composition to be subjected to maintenance even in the presence of a plurality of train compositions. A control transmission device is mounted on a train and includes: a port connectable by wire to a maintenance communication device that is an external terminal; a train composition number notification unit that provides notification of a train composition number of the train; and a wireless network ID reception unit that receives a wireless network ID for constructing a wireless network. The wireless network ID received by the wireless network ID reception unit is generated based on the train composition number provided by the train composition number notification unit.

Control transmission device, maintenance communication device, and train maintenance system

A train information management device sends and receives information to and from both a train-controlling in-vehicle wireless station for controlling an operation of a train, and a door-controlling in-vehicle wireless station for controlling vehicle doors. The device includes a wireless train control unit, an automatic operation unit, and a door control unit. The wireless train control unit receives route information represented by a consecutive block sequence and information on a stop limit location that the train may reach without hindering a preceding train, and if this route information includes a station block number, consults an in-vehicle database to extract, before the train arrives at a platform, an arrival track where the train is to stop, a stop target location at a stop station dependent on a travel direction of the train, and which of the vehicle doors is to be opened, and stops the train in accordance with the route information.

Train information management device and door control system

A train-information management device mounted on a train, includes: an intra-block position calculator to convert information on a kilometrage that indicates a position of the train into information on a block number and an intra-block position of a plurality of blocks into which a route of the train is divided and that are used when a train position is specified by a train radio system; and an on-board router to communicate the information on the block number and the intra-block position to a ground side by using a system that is different from a system that is used for communication between the ground side and a train side via a radio base station in the train radio system.
