A refrigeration cycle device includes: a compressor; a heat radiating unit that causes refrigerant to heat air supplied to a space inside a vehicle cabin; a decompression unit that decompresses the refrigerant; an outside air heat absorbing unit that causes the refrigerant to absorb heat from outside air; a waste heat absorbing unit that causes the refrigerant to absorb waste heat of a waste heat device; a shutter that opens and closes a passage for the outside air introduced into the outside air heat absorbing unit; and a control unit that closes the shutter when it is determined that an amount of waste heat of the waste heat device is larger than an amount of heat absorbed by the refrigerant in the outside air heat absorbing unit and the waste heat absorbing unit.

Refrigeration cycle device

A refrigeration cycle device includes a refrigeration cycle, an outdoor heat exchanger, a cooling necessity determination unit, a determination reference setting unit, and a cooling control unit. The cooling necessity determination unit determines whether or not to cool a battery depending on whether or not a physical quantity that correlates with a temperature of the battery is equal to or more than a predetermined reference physical quantity. The determination reference setting unit sets the reference physical quantity for the cooling necessity determination unit according to the outdoor heat exchanger functioning as a heat absorber or radiator. When the outdoor heat exchanger functions as heat absorber, the determination reference setting unit sets a second reference physical quantity smaller than a first reference physical quantity set when the outdoor heat exchanger functions as radiator.

An air conditioning device for a vehicle has a compressor, an evaporator, a driving condition detector, a temperature detector, and a controller. The driving condition detector detects a driving condition of the vehicle. The evaporator has a cold storage portion storing the heat from the refrigerant and having phase-change energy in at least two different temperature ranges. The controller (i) maintains the compressor being stopped while a temperature detected by the temperature detector is lower than or equal to the first temperature when the vehicle is in a coasting operation and (ii) maintains the compressor being stopped while the temperature is lower than or equal to the second temperature when the vehicle is stopped. The coasting operation is a driving condition in which a vehicle speed is lower than or equal to a specified speed and an acceleration device of the vehicle is not operated.

Air conditioning device for vehicle

A heater core for exchanging heat between a coolant and ventilation air to be blown into a vehicle interior is disposed in a high-pressure side heat-medium circulation circuit that allows for circulation of the coolant heated by a heat pump cycle. A radiator for exchanging heat between at least a part of the coolant flowing out of the heater core and a low-pressure refrigerant in the heat pump cycle is disposed in a low-pressure side heat-medium circulation circuit coupled to the high-pressure side heat-medium circulation circuit. Thus, excessive heat included in the coolant flowing out of the heater core and which is not used to heat the ventilation air can suppress frost formation on an exterior heat exchanger and can also defrost the exterior heat exchanger.

Heat pump system

A refrigeration cycle device includes a pre-evaporator decompression unit that decompresses refrigerant which flowed out from an exterior heat exchanger, and an evaporator passage that guides the refrigerant which flowed out from the exterior heat exchanger to a suction port of a compressor while passing through a pre-evaporator decompression unit and an evaporator. Further, the refrigeration cycle device includes a bypass passage that guides the refrigerant which flowed out from the exterior heat exchanger to the suction port of the compressor while bypassing the pre-evaporator decompression unit and the evaporator, a pre-exterior device switching unit, and a passage switching unit that opens and closes the bypass passage. Further, the pre-exterior device switching unit and the passage switching unit form a coupled valve where the pre-exterior device switching unit and the passage switching unit are mechanically coupled.

A heat exchange system for realizing an adequate heat exchange among a plural type of fluids uses a refrigerant radiator and a radiator which are combined to have one unit for enabling heat exchange between a refrigerant and a coolant, and decreases an inflow amount of the coolant flowing into the radiator when coolant temperature of the coolant flowing into the radiator is equal to or higher than a second standard temperature, which is set to be lower than a temperature of the refrigerant flowing into the refrigerant radiator, and is equal to or lower than a predetermined first standard temperature. In such manner, heat from the refrigerant is effectively transferred to an outside air by reducing an unwanted heat exchange between the refrigerant and the outside air.

Heat exchange system

A mixing portion that mixes an injection refrigerant and a suction refrigerant is formed in a range of an internal space of a heating-side body portion of a heating-side ejector from a refrigerant injection port of a heating-side nozzle portion to an inlet of a heating-side diffuser. Further, the mixing portion is formed in a shape that gradually decreases a refrigerant passage area toward a downstream side of a refrigerant flow, and a refrigerant passage area of the inlet of the heating-side diffuser is set smaller than that of the refrigerant injection port. Thus, the flow velocity of the mixed refrigerant is decelerated to a value lower than a two phase sound velocity within the mixing portion, thereby suppressing occurrence of shock wave in the heating-side diffuser and stabilizing the pressure increasing performance in the heating-side diffuser.

Ejector

When a temperature of feed air blown into a space for air conditioning cannot be increased up to the target temperature in an indoor condenser of a heat pump cycle included in a gas injection cycle, the volume of the feed air flowing into the indoor condenser is decreased. Thus, the temperature of the refrigerant condensed by the indoor condenser is increased, while the amount of a compression work in a high-pressure side compression stage of the compressor is increased, which suppresses the lack of the heating capacity of the feed air blown into the space for air conditioning.

Refrigerant cycle device

In a dehumidification-air heating mode, a refrigerant circuit is configured such that a refrigerant outlet side of an exterior heat exchanger communicates with a heating side refrigerant suction port of a heating side ejector as a refrigerant decompression means, and that a refrigerant inlet side of an interior evaporator communicates with an outlet side of a heating side diffuser of the heating side ejector. A refrigerant evaporation temperature in the exterior heat exchanger is set lower than that of the interior evaporator by a pressurizing effect of the heating side ejector. Thus, the amount of heat absorption by the refrigerant at the exterior heat exchanger is increased to improve the heating capacity of the air in an interior condenser.

Refrigeration cycle apparatus

A refrigerant cycle device includes a first refrigerant passage for guiding refrigerant from a refrigerant radiator to an inlet side of an outdoor heat exchanger, a first throttle part capable of varying an opening area of the first refrigerant passage, a second refrigerant passage for guiding the refrigerant from the outdoor heat exchanger to a compressor-suction side, a first opening/closing part for opening/closing the second refrigerant passage, a third refrigerant passage for guiding the refrigerant from the outdoor heat exchanger to the compressor-suction side via an evaporator, a second throttle part capable of varying an opening area of the third refrigerant passage, a bypass passage for guiding the refrigerant flowing between the refrigerant radiator and the first throttle part to a position between the outdoor heat exchanger and the second throttle part in the third refrigerant passage, and a second opening/closing part for opening/closing the bypass passage.

A heat pump cycle is capable of switching an operation mode to a cooling operation mode, a heating operation mode and a dehumidifying-heating operation mode, and is applicable to an air conditioning device. The heat pump cycle is configured to set both of a high-pressure side pressure reducing device and a low-pressure side pressure reducing device&#x2014;in a throttled state and a fully open state. In this way, the heat pump cycle realizes cooling, heating, and dehumidifying-heating by a simple structure without providing separate refrigerant flow passages extended from a compressor to an outside heat exchanger based on the operation modes of the air conditioning device.

Heat pump cycle for a vehicle utilizing a variable opening throttle valve for humidifying operation

A composite heat exchanger includes a first heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between feed air and a refrigerant, and a second heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between the feed air and engine coolant. The composite heat exchanger is integrated so as to enable heat transfer between discharge refrigerant flowing through the first heat exchanger and the coolant flowing through the second heat exchanger. Furthermore, the composite heat exchanger is configured to change an amount of the heat exchanged among the feed air, the discharge refrigerant and the coolant in the composite heat exchanger by changing at least one of a volume of the feed air, a refrigerant discharge capacity of the compression mechanism, and an inflow amount of the heat medium.

Air conditioner for a vehicle using a composite heat exchanger

An air-conditioner that conditions air inside a passenger compartment of a vehicle using a heat pump refrigerating cycle includes: a case having at least a first air passage and a second air passage independent from each other; an indoor heat exchanger cooling air; and a heating heat exchanger heating air. Inside of the heating heat exchanger is divided into a first section corresponding to the first air passage and a second section corresponding to the second air passage. The first section and the second section are located adjacent with each other through a border portion. The heating heat exchanger has a refrigerant passage through which refrigerant flows in parallel with the border portion.

Air-conditioner for vehicle

A unified heat exchanger includes a first heat exchanging arrangement and a second heat exchanging arrangement. The first heat exchanging arrangement is adapted to exchange heat between high pressure refrigerant and conditioning air. The second heat exchanging arrangement is adapted to exchange heat between low pressure refrigerant and the conditioning air. The first heat exchanging arrangement and the second heat exchanging arrangement are integrated together and are arranged to enable heat exchange of the conditioning air with both of the high pressure refrigerant and the low pressure refrigerant.
