An air conditioning apparatus includes: a casing that includes an inlet port that takes in air and an outlet port to which a blow-out duct is connected, the casing forming an airflow path extending from the inlet port to the outlet port; a fan unit that is disposed in the casing and sends air from the inlet port to the outlet port in the airflow path; a ventilation member that is disposed in the airflow path and allows air to pass therethrough; a differential pressure gauge that measures a differential pressure between points in front of and behind the ventilation member; and a controller that adjusts a rotational speed of the fan unit based on a measured value of the differential pressure gauge.

Air conditioning apparatus and method for controlling rotational speed of blower fan

A refrigeration system includes a heat source unit, a plurality of utilization units, a height-associated value detection unit and a pressure control unit. The heat source unit has a compressor and a heat source-side heat exchanger that functions as a radiator. Each utilization unit has a pressure reducer and a utilization-side heat exchanger that functions as an evaporator. The height-associated value detection unit detects a height-associated value of each utilization unit. The height associated value of each utilization unit corresponds to a height of the utilization unit. The height of each utilization unit is a vertical distance between the utilization unit and the heat source unit. The pressure control unit determines whether each of the utilization units is in operation or stopped and performs refrigerant pressure control based on the height-associated values of the utilization units that have been determined to be in operation.

Refrigeration system

A humidity control system () includes a refrigerant circuit () in which an adsorption heat exchanger () carrying an adsorbent thereon is connected. During a regeneration action of a humidification operation of the humidity control system (), outdoor air passes through the adsorption heat exchanger () from upstream towards downstream in the flow of refrigerant. Therefore, the air can be effectively increased in temperature at the air inflow end of the adsorption heat exchanger (), thereby preventing freezing of dew condensation water.

Humidity control system

The invention provides an air conditioner that is capable of performing optimal control in accordance with the environment of an indoor space at startup, and a method of controlling such. The air conditioner forms a refrigerant circuit having a first heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger, thermistors, humidity sensors, a temperature sensor, ventilation fans, a compressor, a casing, a control unit, and the like. The control unit is connected to the temperature sensor, the humidity sensors, a storage unit, a timer, a manual input unit, air passageway switching mechanisms, a four-way switching valve, and an expansion valve. In the stage before the air conditioner starts normal operation after startup, the control unit performs a priority control operation that prioritizes either the sensible heat process or the latent heat process.

Air conditioner and method of controlling such

An air conditioner has a heat exchanger, an absorbing agent, and a controller. The absorbing agent performs an absorbing operation for absorbing moisture in passing air flowing through the heat exchanger functioning as an evaporator and a regenerating operation for desorbing moisture from passing air heated by the heat exchanger functioning as a condenser. The controller performs control such that the absorbing operation and the regenerating operation are switched at a predetermined switching time interval. The controller also performs control of a capacity of a compressor and control for changing the predetermined switching time interval such that a predetermined load out of a total heat load, which is the sum of the latent heat load and the sensible heat load, is preferentially processed.

Air conditioner and method of controlling air conditioner

A refrigerant circuit () is provided with two adsorption heat exchangers () in addition to an outdoor heat exchanger () and an indoor heat exchanger (). An adsorbent is carried on the surface of each of the adsorption heat exchangers (). In the adsorption heat exchanger () serving as an evaporator, moisture in the air is adsorbed by the adsorbent. In the adsorption heat exchanger () serving as a condenser, moisture is desorbed from the adsorbent and then applied to the air. Then, the air dehumidified or humidified by the adsorption heat exchanger () is supplied to a room to cope with latent heat load in the room. On the other hand, in the indoor heat exchanger (), air is cooled or heated. Then, the air cooled or heated by the indoor heat exchanger () is supplied to the room to cope with sensible heat load in the room.

Air conditioning system

A humidity control device includes a first adsorption element () and a second adsorption element (). A first filter () is provided under the first adsorption element (), while a second filter () is provided under the second adsorption element (). The humidity control device performs first operation and second operation alternately. Directions of air flowing through the respective filters () are reversed between the first operation and the second operation. Reversal of the direction of the air flowing through each filter () removes dust and the like from each filter ().
