An image distribution apparatus that ensures both privacy protection and security is provided. A private area storage section stores private areas relating to the privacy of users. A cutout area storage section stores, as a cutout area, an area requested by an identified user to be distributed. An image processing level storage section stores an image processing rule that defines an image processing level for each of areas having different levels of privacy. An image processing area generation section acquires the cutout area of the identified user from the cutout area storage section, acquires, from the private area storage section, a private area of the identified user and a private area of a person other than the identified user, which private areas are contained in an image of the acquired cutout area, acquires the image processing rule from the image processing level storage section, and then determines an image processing method for each area in the cutout area in accordance with the acquired image processing rule.

Provided is an exclusive operation control apparatus which, when input operations of a plurality of users compete with each other, displays a content on which the plurality of input operations are reflected, instead of performing only one of the input operations. An operation determination section receives input information from the plurality of users, and determines an operation. An exclusive operation determination section determines an exclusive operation concerning a new operation by using the new operation and a previous operation. The content copying section copies the content based on a result of the determination. The content management section receives the new operation from the operation determination section and, when the new operation is an operation on the copied content, generates and displays on a display device display data which is obtained by reflecting the new operation on the copied content.

A conflict resolution apparatus automatically updates an application conflict rule specifying a conflict condition among applications when a device is installed or uninstalled. An application conflict rule storage section stores the application conflict rule. An application executing section determines, based on the application conflict rule, conflicts among a plurality of applications and executes at least one application in accordance with a result of the determination. An application conflict rule updating section updates the application conflict rule in accordance with a change of the conflict condition among the plurality of applications when a resource of the conflict resolution apparatus is changed.
