An heat pump drying machine has a normal dry mode (e.g., compression ratio is equal to or greater than 3) for operating a compressor at a predetermined dry operation frequency and an energy saving dry mode (e.g., compression ratio is equal to or greater than 2.3 and is less than 3) for operating the compressor at an energy saving operation frequency that is lower than the dry operation frequency. A control device is provided to control an operation frequency of the compressorso that the two dry operation modes are switched to each other. The control device can execute the control for increasing the operation frequency of the compressor to the dry operation frequency during the operation of the energy saving dry mode.

There is provided a rotary compressor capable of preventing deterioration of performance following plug fixing carried out to prevent falling-off of a spring member. There is provided a refrigerant introduction pipe for introducing refrigerant in the hermetic shell case over the electric element into the second rotary compression element through an outside of the hermetic shell case. In the case that heat absorbing means that function in selectively different temperature ranges, are provided in a refrigerating cycle, an object is to provide a refrigerating apparatus capable of suppressing the deterioration of efficiency in either temperature range to make a highly efficient operation possible. The refrigerating apparatus includes a compressor, a radiator, first heat absorbing means, and second heat absorbing means provided in parallel with the first heat absorbing means. The first heat absorbing means includes first decompressing means, a first heat absorber, and a first heat exchanger capable of heat exchange between a refrigerant which has come from the first heat absorber and a refrigerant flowing in the first decompressing means. The second heat absorbing means includes second decompressing means, a second heat absorber, and a second heat exchanger capable of heat exchange between a refrigerant which has come from the second heat absorber and a refrigerant flowing in the second decompressing means.
