A front panel for a plasma display comprising a transparent substrate and two or more electroconductive films, each electroconductive film comprising a transparent polymer film with a transparent electroconductive layer on at least one surface thereof, can effectively shield an electromagnetic wave and can be produced in a simple process.

The present invention provides a plasma display front panel comprising a laminate of a transparent substrate and a synthetic fiber mesh plated with a metal thereon, and offering an adequate shielding against electromagnetic waves from a plasma display. The invention employs a transparent substrate formed from a resinous composition comprising a copolymer of a monomer having an unsaturated double bond and a phosphorus-containing compound, and a copper-containing compound so as to provide a plasma display front panel featuring an excellent electromagnetic shielding performance and an ability of absorbing near-infrared rays.

The present invention provides an impact resistant Fresnel lens comprising a resin which is obtained by polymerizing a solution consisting essentially of (a) 100 parts by weight of a monomer mixture comprising an styrenic monomer in an amount of from 60 to 99 parts by weight and a (meth)acrylic monomer of from 1 to 40 parts by weight, and (b) 1 to 50 parts by weight of a styrene-dienic copolymer based on 100 parts by weight of said monomer mixture based on 100 parts by weight of said monomer mixture. The Fresnel lens has a high refractive index and excellent transparency and impact resistance.

Styrene resin composition and method of producing molding thereof

Disclosed is a method of producing a conductive polymer composite comprising a resin layer and a conductive polymer layer formed on the resin layer, which comprises the steps of dissolving, in a monomer component (a) which is polymerizable without condensation reaction, a monomer component (b) capable of undergoing electrolytic polymerization to give at least one conductive polymer and an electrolyte (c), introducing the resulting solution into an electrolytic polymerization cell, applying a direct current voltage across the cell to electrolytically polymerize the component (b) to thereby provide the conductive polymer layer, and thereafter subjecting the component (a) to polymerization in the cell to provide the resin layer.
