A biological gas detection apparatus of an embodiment of the present invention includes: a sensor unit including plural types of gas sensors; a control unit of the sensor unit; a data recording unit; and a data analyzing unit, wherein the data recording unit includes a database on properties of sensitivities of the gas sensors for a single body of a desired gas component, a single body of an interference gas component, and a mixed gas of these that are included in the biological gas, and the data analyzing unit calculates concentration of the desired gas component based on sensitivities of the gas sensors output when detecting the biological gas and the database.

System and method for molecular communication

There is provided a molecular communication system capable of transmitting an information molecule in which predetermined information is encoded to a target destination under good controllability. The molecular communication system includes a molecular transmitter for transmitting the information molecule with prescribed information encoded, a molecular receiver for receiving the information molecule, and a molecule transmission channel extending between the molecular transmitter and the molecular receiver. The molecule transmission channel defines a transmission path formed of macromolecular (or polymer) materials, along which carrier molecules are circulating in a prescribed direction. The information molecule output from the molecular transmitter is loaded on the carrier molecule and carried to the molecular receiver.

A mobile communications system for transferring packets to a mobile communications terminal according to address information of the mobile communications terminal is disclosed. The mobile communications terminal is located in a moving network connected to a given node in a core network. A molecule transfer and delivery system includes a loading zone () for loading a targeted cargo molecule () on a carrier molecule () making use of a hybridization nature of nucleotides, and an unloading zone () for unloading the targeted cargo molecule from the carrier molecule making use of the strand exchange nature of the nucleotides. Towing nucleotide chains including the first single-stranded nucleotides () with the first length are bound to the carrier molecule, and the second single-stranded nucleotides () with the second length longer than the first length are bound to the targeted cargo molecule. The third single-stranded nucleotides () with the same length as the second single-stranded nucleotides are bound to the unloading zone.

A network management server includes an address manager and an address assignment direction transmitter. The address manager manages a first address, a second address and a third address of the destination mobile terminals in accordance with address assignment information received from a mobile node. The address assignment direction transmitter transmits an address assignment directions for directing a source access node to manage the first address and the second address of the destination mobile terminal, and to transmit an address assignment direction for directing a destination access node to manage the second address and the third address of the destination mobile terminal.

Time required for location registration is reduced and concentration of location update signals caused when a group moves is prevented. Each mobile node and a mobile router sends a location update request to a local location manager near to the area in which it exists, so that time required for location registration can be reduced, and it is possible to prevent pressure on wireless resources and temporary increase in communication traffic within a mobile network, which may be caused by concentration of location update signals when a group moves as in the case of a train with a lot of passengers having mobile nodes. Thereby, even if location registration is not correctly performed by a mobile router, which sends a location update request on behalf of mobile nodes existing in the space of a moving body, due to the communication condition or a failure, it can be dealt with.

Use of finite wireless resources is minimized when paging is performed to an MN, even if a location manager does not retain correct location area information for the reason that a mobile router (MR), which performs location update (LU) on behalf of mobile nodes (MNs) existing in the space in a moving body, does not send an LU signal because it is active, for example. A flag indicating whether an MR#is dormant or active is retained in a location manager LM#. When paging is performed to an MN#which is in a master-slave relationship with the MR#, the LM#refers to the flag to determine the state of the MR#. When the MR#is active, the LM#inquires of a routing manager RM#about routing address information for the MR#and performs paging using the information. Thus, it is possible to perform paging to the MN#which is in a master-salve relationship with the MR#, without the MR#, which is moving in an active state, sending an LU signal.

To always guarantee QoS for packet transfer and to achieve continuity of QoS guaranteed paths for upstream and downstream packet transfers between a mobile communications terminal and remote terminal, a transit router TR is used to detect any change of visitor location address reported via an existing QoS guaranteed path used for packet transfer and to newly set up a QoS guaranteed path according to the results of detection. Packets are transferred via existing QoS guaranteed paths until the transit router TR completes setup of a QoS guaranteed path. The mobile communications terminal and remote terminal are notified that the setup of the QoS guaranteed path is completed.

A mobile terminal includes; a first wireless interface configured to perform communication through a public mobile communication network; a second wireless interface configured to perform direct communication with another mobile terminal; an update information transmitter unit configured to transmit update information including identification information and communication state information of the mobile terminal, to a control device in the public mobile communication network through the first wireless interface at a predetermined timing; a route maintaining unit configured to receive a packet transfer route generated by the control device of the public mobile communication network based on the update information through the first wireless interface, and to maintain the packet transfer route; and a packet transmitter unit configured to transmit a packet to another mobile terminal through the second wireless interface based on the packet transfer route.

A mobile communications control method of this invention controls mobile communication by a mobile terminal in a network in which a plurality of wireless systems are available. In the mobile communications control method, the mobile terminal performs location registration with a wireless system selected from among the wireless systems, based on at least one of a status of the network, a status of the mobile terminal, location information of the mobile terminal, a frequency of incoming call reception of the mobile terminal, and service area information of the wireless systems.
