A suspension is provided which can not only generate a damping force between sprung mass and unsprung mass but also steer a wheel. A suspension includes: a shaft coupled to sprung mass of a vehicle, the shaft having a screw groove and a spline groove formed thereon; a ball screw nut assembled to the shaft via a ball; a ball spline nut assembled to the shaft via a ball; a ball screw-specific motor connected to the ball screw nut; a ball spline-specific motor connected to the ball spline nut; and a case coupled to unsprung mass of the vehicle, the case being configured to hold the ball screw-specific motor and the ball spline-specific motor. The ball spline-specific motor rotates the ball spline nut and the shaft relative to the case.

There is provided a technique for obtaining temperature information for inside of a living body and accuracy information thereof in short time with low burden imposed on a subject. It is realized with a spectrum calculator configured to perform MRS or MRSI measurement for two kinds of substances showing difference of resonant frequencies and calculating spectra of magnetic resonance signals of the two kinds of substances, a temperature information calculator configured to calculate temperature information for inside of the subject on the basis of peaks of the calculated spectra, a temperature accuracy information calculator configured to calculate temperature accuracy information indicating accuracy of the temperature information on the basis of peaks of the calculated spectra, and a display information generator configured to generate display information to be displayed on a display device on the basis of the temperature information and the temperature accuracy information.

Magnetic resonance imaging apparatus

An object of the present invention is to suppress artifacts generated by correction of spectral distortion induced by eddy currents in MRI devices with a simple method, and thereby improve accuracy of the correction.

Magnetic resonance imaging device, phase value correction method and program

Images of two or more kinds of substances showing different chemical shifts, such as water image and metabolite image, are obtained without extending measurement time. For example, images of two or more kinds of desired substances showing different chemical shifts, such as water image and metabolite image, are obtained by one time of execution of an imaging sequence. In this execution, a pre-pulse is applied so that signals of the substances to be separated shift on the image, and magnetic resonance signals are received with receiver RF coils in a number not smaller than the number of types of the substances to be separated. An image reconstructed from the magnetic resonance signals is separated into images of the individual substances using sensitivity maps of the receiver RF coils. Then, correction is performed for returning the shifted image to the original position. Further, residual signals induced by errors generated in the measurement and the separation processing are eliminated by using spectroscopic images obtained after the separation.

Magnetic resonance imaging device

In the diffusion spectroscopic imaging, in which intensity of molecular diffusion is imaged with separating chemical substances, with suppressing artifacts resulting from object motion of an object, spatial resolution, spectral band and SNR are maintained, and measurement accuracy is enhanced. A measurement for acquiring diffusion SI data is repeated a plurality of times with changing acquisition timing, phase variation of each measurement result is corrected, and a diffusion SI image is reconstructed from the corrected measurement results. In addition, the phase variation is calculated for every point in the space from the diffusion SI data acquired by each measurement or navigation data obtained by each measurement. The phase correction is independently performed for every point in the space.

An object of the present invention is to provide a measuring technique which allows in the MRS measurement to suppress with a high degree of precision, incorporation of a signal of unwanted compounds which hinders measurement of a measurement object signal, independent of an imaging object region and the measurement object signal, thereby obtaining a stable and favorable signal spectrum. In the MRS measuring sequence, a spectrum selective inversion RF pulse, having a narrow band characteristic for selectively inverting only a signal peak of a compounds to be suppressed, and phase dispersion-refocusing GC pulses are applied at least one of before and after a region selective RF pulse. This MRS measuring sequence is repeated while changing the echo time TE at predetermined intervals, and nuclear magnetic resonance signals being obtained by the repetition are integrated. The amount of the spectrum selective inversion RF pulse to be applied may be changed according to the echo time TE.

In MRS measurement using magnetic resonance highly precise results are efficiently obtained with coincidence of axes with axes in positioning image. In measurement according to the PRESS method for a plurality of regions each localized (specified) with a set of perpendicularly intersecting three slices, wherein one or two slices are common to the sets of three slices localizing the regions, and slices not common do not intersect, a slice not common to those of a region to be selectively excited is excited with a radio frequency magnetic field of which phase is different by 180 degrees from that of a radio frequency magnetic field used for exciting the region to be selectively excited a number of times equal to the number of common slices, and during the measurement of the region to be selectively excited, a group of regions other than the region to be selectively excited are thermally equilibrated.

Magnetic resonance imaging apparatus enabling highly precise spectrum measurement even when resonance frequency changes during MRS or MRSI measurement. When a pulse sequence for suppressing water signals, and an MRS or MRSI pulse sequence are sequentially executed to carry out measurement using repetitive measurement for signal integration or repetitive measurement for phase encoding, signal Sigfrom water is measured with the pulse sequence for suppressing water signals in every repetitive measurement. An object of the invention is to obtain a magnetic resonance spectroscopic image to which the MAC summation is applied with high accuracy and in short time, even though a phase characteristic distribution of the MAC has a spatial non-uniformity, in the MRSI measurement using a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus provided with a MAC. Using a non-water-suppressed image signal with high SNR, obtained in the non-water-suppressed measurement (a reference measurement) without water suppression, a correction value for correcting the phase distortion for the MAC summation is calculated on each pixel in each coil. After correcting a phase on each pixel in each coil of a main-scan image signal measured under suppressing water (water-suppressed image signal) using the corrective value, signal adding operation (summation) is performed. Then, a phase correction in a spectrum-axis is to be performed on the summed spectrum signal.

Magnetic resonance imaging apparatus and magnetic resonance spectroscopic image computing method

A method for obtaining the most appropriate amplitude of signal suppression pulse, which suppresses unnecessary signals from the substance not subjected to measurement, highly accurately, swiftly and stably, and an MRI apparatus that enables the optimization are provided. A pulse amplitude adjusting means equipped in the MRI apparatus acquires signals while changing the amplitude of signal suppression pulse and calculates signal absolute values and phase values, and computes reference signals, which are polarized signal absolute values, based on the changes in signal phase values. This reference signals are subjected to polynomial fitting. A value which makes this fitting curve is 0 or closes to 0 is set as the optimal pulse amplitude.

Nuclear magnetic resonance imaging apparatus

A magnetic resonance imaging system capable of conducting spectroscopic imaging with an improved SNR without degrading the spatial resolution includes edge-preserving filter processing means for spectroscopic imaging. The edge-preserving filter processing means executes processing including the steps of calculating spectral similarity in spatial neighborhoods (spatially neighboring voxels) at each voxel in spectroscopic imaging data, calculating a spectral weight according to the spectral similarity, and conducting weighted smoothing for compounding spectra of spatial neighborhoods (spatially neighboring voxels) according to the spectral weight.

Magnetic resonance imaging system

The present invention provides a magnetic resonance imaging system capable of performing spectrum measurement even when a magnetic resonant frequency changes during MRS measurement. A time-varying rate of a water magnetic resonant frequency is measured in advance before the MRS measurement. The amount of change in water magnetic resonant frequency during the MRS measurement is predicted from the measured time-varying rate. With the predicted value as the reference, a transmission frequency of an RF magnetic field irradiated in a signal suppression pulse sequence, a transmission frequency of an RF magnetic field for excitation and inversion and a received frequency at the detection of a magnetic resonance signal in a sequence of the MRS measurement are respectively set. A high-precision spectrum measurement is hence enabled.

When the nucleic-acid base sequence of A, C, G, and T (or U) is determined by interpreting fluorescent-light intensity waveform data acquired by measuring nucleic-acid fragments, it is desirable to determine, with a high-accuracy, the base sequence at a location at which the data interpretation is difficult. In order to accomplish this object, the data interpretation is performed by making reference to information acquired by performing the statistical processing to plural pieces of fluorescent-light intensity waveform data corresponding to already-known base sequences. This method allows the determination of the nucleic-acid base sequence at the above-described location.

Nucleic acid base sequence determining method and inspecting system

Provided is a magnetic resonance imaging system capable of reducing degradation in a magnetic resonance spectrum derived from a change in a static magnetic field. A sequence controller performs non-water-suppressed spectrum measurement (pre-scan) cyclically during water-suppressed spectrum measurement (main scan) accompanied by repetitive measurement intended for averaging of signals, and cyclically detects a water resonant frequency (water-signal peak position) and a phase value at a water-signal peak from an obtained non-water-suppressed spectrum (the cyclic pre-scan makes it possible to sense a time-varying rate of static magnetic field strength (resonant frequency)). For the water-suppressed spectrum measurement (main scan) succeeding the pre-scan, a reception-initiating phase value that is used to detect a magnetic resonance signal is set to a value calculated using the phase value at the water-signal peak position detected during the pre-scan. For averaging of measured magnetic resonance signals, data items are shifted by the value calculated from the phase value at the water-signal peak position detected during the pre-scan. Thereafter, the averaging is carried out.
