The power storage device includes a power storage module and a conductive plate. The power storage module includes an electrode laminate including current collectors stacked on each other in a first direction. At least one of the positive electrode terminal electrode, the negative electrode terminal electrode, and the bipolar electrode includes an active material layer including grooves arranged in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and the grooves extend in a third direction crossing the second direction. The conductive plate includes an outer surface including depressions depressed in the first direction and extending in the second direction, the current collector arranged at the stack end of the electrode laminate includes an exposed face in contact with the outer surface, the exposed surface includes protrusions overlapping the active material layer in the first direction, and the protrusions protrude in the first direction and extend in the third direction.

Power storage device

The power storage device includes power storage units arranged with a conductive plate interposed therebetween in the vertical direction, each of the power storage units includes an electrode stack including bipolar electrodes stacked with a separator interposed therebetween, and a sealing member provided around the electrode stack so as to seal a housing space formed between adjacent electrodes of the electrode stack. At least one of the power storage units is provided with an overhang member on an outer peripheral surface of the sealing member. The overhang member includes an inclined portion that extends from the outer peripheral surface of the sealing member toward the outside of the power storage unit and inclines downward as it leaves away from the outer peripheral surface of the sealing member, and a top portion formed at a lower end of the inclined portion.

Bipolar battery and power storage device

A pressure control valve structure includes a wall portion having a plurality of communication holes communicating with their associated internal spaces, a plurality of projections protruding outwardly from a wall surface of the wall portion so as to surround their associated communication holes, a plurality of elastic valve bodies closing their associated communication holes in contact with the projections, an outer peripheral wall portion protruding from the wall surface so as to surround the plurality of projections collectively, and a cover made of a resin and fixed to the outer peripheral wall portion, the cover compressing the elastic valve bodies towards their associated projections. The cover has a thick-walled portion where the cover is made partially thick in an outer surface of the cover.

Pressure control valve structure and power storage module

A power storage device includes a power storage module, a conductive plate, and a sealing member. The power storage module includes an electrode laminate and a sealing body. The sealing body includes a plurality of resin portions. Metal plates at laminate ends of the electrode laminate each have an exposed surface exposed from the resin portion. The exposed surface includes a contact region and a non-contact region. The sealing member includes a first sealing portion. The first sealing portion is provided along an inner edge of the resin portion to be in contact with the resin portion. The first sealing portion adheres to the conductive plate and the non-contact region and fills a portion between the conductive plate and the non-contact region. The first sealing portion seals a portion between the conductive plate and the exposed surface.

A power storage device includes a plurality of power storage modules laminated, a conductive plate and a sealing member. The conductive plate and the sealing member are provided between the power storage modules adjacent to each other in a laminating direction of the power storage modules. The plurality of power storage modules each have an electrode laminate, an electrolytic solution, and a sealing body. The electrode laminate has electrode exposed portions exposed from the sealing body at one end and the other end in the laminating direction. Between the power storage modules adjacent to each other in the laminating direction, the conductive plate is disposed between the electrode exposed portions opposing each other to be in contact with the electrode exposed portions, and at least a portion between the sealing bodies opposing each other is filled with the sealing member.

A pressure control valve structure includes a wall portion having a plurality of communication holes communicating with the internal space, a plurality of tubular portions surrounding the communication holes and extending outwardly from a wall surface of the wall portion as a proximal end, an elastic valve body disposed in each of the tubular portions and having a first end surface and a second surface opposite from the first surface, an outer peripheral wall surrounding the plurality of tubular portions collectively, and a cover fixed to the outer peripheral wall. The tubular portions are spaced from the cover. The tubular portions has an inner wall surface that includes an inclined surface that is inclined downwardly in a gravity direction from the proximal end of the tubular portion to a distal end of the tubular portion with a compression direction of the elastic valve body set extending horizontally.

Power storage module and method for manufacturing power storage module

A power storage module includes a laminate constituted of a plurality of laminated bipolar electrodes, each of the bipolar electrodes including an electrode plate, a positive electrode provided on one surface of the electrode plate, and a negative electrode provided on the other surface of the electrode plate, wherein a plurality of internal spaces is formed between the bipolar electrodes adjacent to each other in the laminate; a frame body holding an edge portion of the electrode plate and provided with an opening communicating with at least one of the plurality of internal spaces; and a pressure regulating valve attached to the frame body.

A power storage module includes a cylindrical resin portion that extends in a direction in which a plurality of bipolar electrodes is stacked and that accommodates therein the plurality of the bipolar electrodes. The resin portion includes a first seal portion that has a cylindrical shape and is joined to peripheral edge portions of a plurality of electrode plate, and a second seal portion that has a cylindrical shape and is disposed outside the first seal portion in a direction that crosses the stacking direction of the bipolar electrodes. A plurality of separators is disposed such that outer peripheral ends of the separators are located between an outer peripheral end of the first seal portion and an inner peripheral end of the first seal portion.
