A vehicle control system includes a terminal device and a vehicle. The terminal device includes a first verification unit that verifies whether the terminal devices matches the vehicle through wireless communication when the terminal device enters an area in which wireless communication between the terminal device and the vehicle is available, and an operation instruction unit that receives an instruction to execute a predetermined operation of the vehicle from the user and the first verification unit has verified that the terminal device matches the vehicle, and transmits a signal according to the instruction to the vehicle, and the vehicle includes a second verification unit that communicates with the first identification unit and verify whether with the vehicle matches the terminal device, and an operation controller that receives the signal from the operation instruction unit and executes the predetermined operation according to the signal.

Vehicle control system

A terminal device separate from a vehicle includes a receiver that receives a notification signal from the vehicle indicating that the vehicle is in a first state different from a second state, a notification unit that notifies a user of the terminal device of the first state based on the notification signal, an input unit that receives, from the user of the terminal device, an input commanding the first state to be maintained, and a transmitter that transmits a signal to the vehicle based on the input received by the input unit. The vehicle includes a control unit that performs control that maintains the first state after lapse of a predetermined time from a time that the notification unit of the terminal device notifies of the first state of the vehicle when a reception unit of the vehicle receives the signal transmitted from the transmitter within the predetermined time.

Vehicle state presentation system, vehicle, terminal device, and vehicle state presentation method

A vehicle includes a notification unit that notifies an information processing device of a state of the vehicle; a reception unit that receives a first signal commanding the state to be maintained, from the information processing device; and a control unit that performs control such that maintains the state after lapse of a predetermined time as well when the reception unit receives the first signal within the predetermined time, and that performs control such that the state becomes a state different from the state after lapse of the predetermined time when the reception unit does not receive the first signal from the information processing device within the predetermined time.

An information processing device includes: an acquisition unit that acquires information indicating a state of a vehicle from the vehicle; and a notification unit that performs a first notification regarding the state when the information processing device is outside a predetermined range including the vehicle, and that performs a second notification including more information on the state than the first notification when the information processing device is in the predetermined range.

An authentication system that executes user authentication processing in accordance with an authentication request includes at least one first device. The first device has a biological information acquiring unit that is configured to acquire biological information of a user, and a first authentication unit that outputs an authentication result of which the user is authenticated, based on the biological information. A vehicle state presentation system includes a terminal device including an ear mounting unit that is mounted on an ear of a user, and a vehicle. The vehicle includes a first communication unit that wirelessly communicates with the terminal device, and a first controller that causes the first communication unit to transmit a notification signal indicating that the vehicle detects a state of the vehicle other than a predetermined state to the terminal device, and the terminal device includes a second communication unit that wirelessly communicates with the vehicle, and a second controller that causes an output unit to perform a notification to the user based on the notification signal received by the second communication unit when the terminal device moves out of a predetermined distance range in which the vehicle is included.

An image display device includes: a camera mounted on a vehicle and configured to take an image representing a view behind the vehicle; an image cutouter configured to cut out a second image, from a first image taken by the camera, based on a reference cutout position in the first image; and a display configured to display the second image cut out by the image cutouter. The image cutouter is configured to, when a display object in the first image is to move in a first direction due to change of an orientation of the vehicle, execute a processing in which a cutout position for the second image at a first time point is moved from the reference cutout position in a second direction opposite to the first direction.

Image display device

An image display device includes: a camera mounted on a vehicle and configured to take an image representing a view behind the vehicle; an image cutouter configured to cut out a second image as a cutout image that is cut out from a first image based on a cutout position representing a position of a portion of the first image in the first image, the first image being taken by the camera; and a display configured to display the second image cut out by the image cutouter. The image cutouter is configured to change the cutout position for the second image in the first image based on a change of an orientation of the vehicle.

The image display device includes a distance obtainer configured to obtain a vehicle-to-vehicle distance between a vehicle and a following vehicle. A controller is configured to: determine a magnitude of an image-cutout angle value based on the obtained vehicle-to-vehicle distance, such that a display state of a rear-view display unit is to be switched from a mirror-surface showing state to a display showing state such that a size of the following vehicle in the mirror-surface showing state is identical to a size of the following vehicle to be displayed in the display showing state; control a display to display a display image created from a cutout image that is cut out in the determined image-cutout angle value; and adjust the image-cutout angle value so as to gradually decrease a size of the following vehicle displayed on the display when the obtained vehicle-to-vehicle distance is greater than a set value.
