An electronic component includes; a magnetic-body core having a plate-shaped portion and a core portion which extends from an upper surface of the plate-shaped portion; a winding wire which includes a wound portion wound by a rectangular wire into an Edgewise winding form and two non-wound portions extending from the wound portion to two distal ends, and the core portion is inserted through the wound portion; and a magnetic exterior body which covers at least the wound portion and the core portion. The two non-wound portions are respectively arranged along a bottom surface and at least one of the side surfaces of the plate-shaped portion. Parts of the two non-wound portions arranged along the bottom surface are electrodes.

Electronic component

A terminal plate member on which a terminal of a coil component is mounted including: an annular frame having an inner peripheral edge; a pair of extension members extending from the inner peripheral edge of the annular frame toward an inner space of the annular frame member in a first direction; and a deformable section provided in the annular frame at proximal end of one of the pair of extension members, the deformable section having a more easily deformable property than other sections of the annular frame when force is applied. The deformable section is provided along at least an entire width in a second direction of the one of the pair of extension members. The second direction is perpendicular to the first direction.

Terminal plate member of coil component and method for manufacturing electronic component

Provided is such a conductive member that a change in its electrical resistance value caused by its long-term use is reduced to the extent possible. The conductive member has a conductive support and a conductive layer, the conductive layer contains a rubber composition formed of a modified epichlorohydrin rubber, and the modified epichlorohydrin rubber has a unit represented by the following formula (1). In the formula (1), R1, R2, and R3 each independently represent hydrogen or a saturated hydrocarbon group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms.

Magnetic element

Provided is an electrophotographic roller including a cylindrical base and an elastic layer on an outer peripheral surface of the base, the base having a joint extending from one end to the other end in a longitudinal direction thereof, at least a part of the joint has a gap penetrating the joint in a thickness direction of the base, and a part of a material for the elastic layer entering the gap and covering a portion of an inner peripheral surface of the base near the gap to form an anchor portion of the elastic layer.

Electrophotographic roller, production method therefor, and electrophotographic apparatus

Provided is an electroconductive member for electrophotography in which movement of a quaternary ammonium salt toward the surface of a binder resin is suppressed and which exhibits a less reduction in electroconductivity through electrification. The electroconductive member for electrophotography comprises an electroconductive shaft core and a resin layer, and the resin layer comprises a binder resin and at least one selected from quaternary ammonium salts having structures represented by the formulae (1) to (8).

A coil component includes a core formed by a magnetic material, a coil embedded in the core, a part of a terminal portion of the coil protruded from a side surface of the core, and a tabular terminal, a part thereof protruded from the side surface of the core and partly connected with the protruded part of the terminal portion of the coil. The protruded part of the terminal portion of the coil and the protruded part of the tabular terminal are respectively bent toward the bottom surface side of the core along the side surface of the core, and the protruded and bent part of the terminal portion of the coil is arranged between the protruded and bent part of the tabular terminal and the core.

Coil component

An electrophotographic roller includes an electro-conductive shaft core including a metallic layer at its surface, and an elastic layer on the shaft core. When kinetic friction coefficients of an outer peripheral surface of each end portion of the shaft core with respect to polyester resin are measured for one rotation of the shaft core, an average value &#x3bc;r of the kinetic friction coefficients is 0.05 to 0.50. When each outer peripheral surface is divided into three equal ranges, defined as a region A1, a region A2, and a region A3, in a peripheral direction of the shaft core, each of the regions has a location where the kinetic friction coefficients fall within a range of 1.5 &#x3bc;r to 1.8 &#x3bc;r, and a location where the kinetic friction coefficients fall within a range of 0.2 &#x3bc;r to 0.5 &#x3bc;r.

A manufacturing method of a magnetic element including the steps of: sandwiching and holding at least one of a terminal unit and a coil terminal-end of a coil between a tubular-shaped upper-side die and a tubular-shaped lower-side die; filling a magnetic material in the tubular-shaped portion; and pressure-molding a core, whose side surface follows the inner walls of the upper-side die and the lower-side die by using an upper-side punch and also by using a lower-side punch, wherein at least a portion of the inner wall of the upper-side die and at least a portion of the inner wall of the lower-side die have respective different distances with respect to the center of the tubular-shaped portion, and in the step of pressure-molding, there is formed a core concave-portion having a step on the outside surface of the core, by transcription, and at least one of the terminal unit and the coil terminal-end is at the boundary.

Manufacturing method of magnetic element

An electroconductive member of the present invention includes an electroconductive support layer and a surface layer formed on the circumference of the electroconductive support layer and having a network structure containing an electroconductive fiber, and the electroconductive fiber has ion conductivity, and has an arithmetic mean value of top 10% fiber diameters of 0.2 &#x3bc;m or more and 15.0 &#x3bc;m or less. The surface layer always satisfies specific conditions.

To suppress an image trouble resulting from abnormal discharge independent of the use conditions and use environment of an electroconductive member, provided is an electroconductive member to be used while being brought into contact with a body to be contacted, the electroconductive member comprising a layer of a network structural body on an outer peripheral surface of a electroconductive support, in which: when a surface of the network structural body in a surface of the electroconductive member is observed, at least a part of the network structural body exists in an arbitrary square region having one side length of 200 &#x3bc;m; the network structural body contains non-electroconductive fibers; and an average fiber diameter of a top 10% of fiber diameters of the non-electroconductive fibers measured at arbitrary points is 0.2 &#x3bc;m or more and 15 &#x3bc;m or less.
