A kneading and granulating machine comprises: a container containing a material to be kneaded; a kneading member, which moves along the inner wall surface of the container and revolves and spins at the same time within the container; and a crushing blade, which revolves and spins at the same time within the container to shear the material to be kneaded in the container. The kneading member comprises a blade having a shape corresponding to the inner wall surface of the container, which enables kneading the material to be kneaded between itself and the inner wall surface of the container.

Kneading and granulating machine

It is an object of the present invention to provide a fine particle granulation method capable of granulating fine particles in an extremely easy operation without the need for carrier particles that cannot be reliably isolated and removed or binders that remain as impurities, and of improving the handling properties of these fine particles, and of obtaining fine particles that can be rapidly broken down into primary particles during use. To achieve this object, the fine particle granulation method comprises an agitation step in which fine particles are dispersed in a supercritical fluid, and a spraying step in which the supercritical fluid with the fine particles dispersed therein is subjected to rapid adiabatic expansion.

Fine particle granulation method

The present invention relates to a rotating fluidized bed apparatus for powder particle. A gas circulation path is formed at the periphery of the treatment chambervia the circumferential faceplate, and the circumferential faceplate is adapted to rotate around an axis. Behavior of powder particles can be controlled by introducing gas from the periphery of the treatment chamber via the circumferential plateto exert centripetal force on the powder particle, while exerting centrifugal force on the powder particles accompanying rotation of the circumferential plate. In another aspect, by making the arrangement proportion of the bag filterinside the treatment chamberwider than the surface width of the dispersion plateor larger than the surface area of the dispersion plate, it is possible to cause gas that has flowed into the treatment chamberto be discharged at a lower rate at an axial region inside the treatment chamberwhere centrifugal force is weak and discharge rate is fast. It is possible to carry out optimal operation control of introduction and discharge of gas for fluidized bed behavior.

Device for treating powder particles by rotary flow

A static electricity measuring system including a probe, a measuring device, and a calibration device. The probe includes a sensor which detects an electric field and outputs signals representing the detected electric field. The measuring device measures static electricity on the basis of the signals output from the sensor. The calibration device generates a reference electric field. The measuring device is adjusted when the sensor detects the reference electric field produced by the calibration device.

Coater for coating particles is provided with a casing and a cylinder having apertures rotatably mounted within the casing. Gas is blown into the casing and onto the host particles through the slots of the cylinder. Guest particles may be inserted into the casing initially or subsequently after rotation of the cylinder begins. The particles are fluidized when a balance is attained between the centrifugal force from the rotation of the cylinder and the force exerted upon the particles from the air flow. The centrifugal force exerted on the particles within the cylinder in an operating state is at least about 25 gs so as to cause guest particles of different sizes to be coated onto the host.

Method of particle coating

In the operation of a granulating or coating apparatus wherein a particulate material is processed in a granulation chamber into granules, the material may be photographed during the course of carrying out the granulation process by utilizing a photography probe wherein a bundle of optical fibers are utilized to project a source of stroboscopic illuminating light in the form of a generally flat beam through a portion of the granulating chamber and a photographic camera is focused within the projected light beam along an optical line of sight oriented generally perpendicular to the projected light beam to produce an image of granules within the beam against a relatively dark background. Simultaneously, a stream of gas is directed into the region of the intersection of the projected light beam and the line of camera sight to disperse the charge material to promote photography of individualized particles of the charged material while at the same time preventing accumulation of charge material on the photographic probe.
