An Al&#x2014;Si&#x2014;Fe-based aluminum alloy casting material that is excellent in elongation while having characteristics of high rigidity and a method for producing the same are provided. The Al&#x2014;Si&#x2014;Fe-based aluminum alloy casting material has a composition that includes: Si, a content of which is 12.0% by mass or more and 25.0% by mass or less; Fe, a content of which is 0.48% by mass or more and 4.0% by mass or less; Cr, a content of which is 0.17% by mass or more and 5.0% by mass or less; and a remainder composed of Al and unavoidable impurities. The casting material includes a structure, in which a Si-based crystallized product surrounds an Al&#x2014;Cr&#x2014;Si-based compound.

Al&#x2014;Si&#x2014;Fe-based aluminum alloy casting material and method for producing the same

A vessel includes a vessel body, an engine contained in the vessel body, an air intake box including an air intake port and that is attached to the engine, an air intake duct drawn around in the vessel body, and a guide duct including an opening that opposes the air intake port. The air intake box supplies air taken in from the air intake port to the engine. The air intake duct includes an outer end connected to a deck of the vessel body. The guide duct guides air taken in from outside the vessel body by the air intake duct to the opening.

There is provided an aluminum alloy casting consisting essentially of 7.0 to 11.5 mass % of Si, 0.9 to 4.0 mass % of Mg, 0.1 to 0.65 mass % of Fe, 0.1 to 0.8 mass % of Mn and the balance being Al and unavoidable impurities, or consisting essentially of 7.0 to 11.5 mass % of Si, 0.9 to 4.0 mass % of Mg, 0.1 to 0.65 mass % of Fe, 0.1 to 0.8 mass % of Mn, 0.3 to 1.0 mass % of Cu and the balance being Al and unavoidable impurities, and containing eutectic Si grains having an aspect ratio of 2.0 or smaller and an average grain size of 1.0 micrometer or smaller. There is also provided an automotive part formed with the aluminum alloy casting and a production method of the aluminum alloy casting.

Aluminum alloy casting and production method thereof

A spot welding tip detaching apparatus includes a movable plate, an engaging/stopping part, and a holder part. The movable plate has a guide hole through which a shaft set upright in a base plate is inserted with a gap being left between the guide hole and the shaft, rotatable relative to the base plate, and movable along the base plate within a range of the guide hole. The engaging/stopping part stops the movable plate at a predetermined position of the base plate by engagement in an engageable/disengageable manner. The holder part is provided integrally on the movable plate to hold a tip fitted in a spot welding gun. The holder part sandwiches the tip between two members of the holder part. According to movement of the tip along a predetermined route, the holder part rotates the tip, while holding the tip, to detach the tip from the spot welding gun.
