Described is a heat developable color light-sensitive material comprising a support having provided thereon at least two layers having a spectral sensitivity peak in a different wavelength range of 700 nm or more, in which the at least two layers are each combined with a compound which provides a dye having a different hue, wherein the layer having a spectral sensitivity peak in the longest wavelength and/or a light-insensitive interlayer adjusted thereto comprises (a) a high silver chloride emulsion of fine grains having a silver chloride content of 80 mol % or more and an average size of 0.15 .mu.m or less or (b) an easily soluble silver salt compound.

Heat-developable color light-sensitive material

A copying machine for forming images using either ordinary color photosensitive materials or thermodeveloping photosensitive materials. The copying machine reproduces color images of high quality using a simple and small-scale device without the need for several exposure stages or complicated development processing. The copying machine comprises an image reading device which obtains a trichromatic separated signal by reading an original by photoelectric scanning, an image processing device which effects the desired image processing on the trichromatic separated signal which has been read, an exposure device which trichromatically exposes thermodevelopment and color-sensitive materials by means of the output signal from the image processing device, and a thermodevelopment and transfer device which thermally develops the exposed color-sensitive material and thermally transfers an image to image-receiving materials.

Method of preserving colored images

A heat developable color photographic material is disclosed. The color photographic material is comprised of a support having thereon a light-sensitive mixed crystal silver haloiodide having a silver iodide content of 4 to 40 mole %, a binder and a dye-providing substance capable of providing a mobile dye, when the silver haloiodide is reduced to silver by heating, in chemical relation to the reaction. The color photographic material is capable of producing an image by quick development in a substantially water free state. Even when the color photographic material is used in combination with an organic silver salt it is capable of providing excellent color sensitivity.

Heat-developable color photographic material with mercapto antifoggant

An image-forming method comprising heating a light-sensitive material in a substantially water-free condition is described. The method uses a light-sensitive material comprised of a support having thereon at least light-sensitive silver halide, a binder, an electron donor and/or electron-transfer agent capable of reducing light-sensitive silver halide, and an immobile dye-releasing substance releasing a mobile dye upon reduction with the electron donor and/or electron-transfer agent.

A compound represented by the structural formula: ##STR1## is representative of the compounds disclosed which are utilized within the silver halide layer of photographic light-sensitive materials. The compounds aid in preventing the fading of dye images which are formed by development of color photographic light-sensitive materials as well as aiding in the prevention of discoloration of non-developed areas. The effects of the compounds are particularly noticeable when utilized in combination with magenta couplers or cyan couplers, and other antifading agents in an amount of 2 to 150% by weight based on the weight of the couplers.

The 3-anilino-5-pyrazolone magenta-color-forming coupler is useful in preventing the formation of yellow stain due to light irradiation in unexposed areas of a color photographic light-sensitive element after color development processing.

A color photographic light-sensitive material containing, in a photographic layer, a coupler and at least one compound represented by the formula (I), or at least one bis-compound (inclusive spirobis-compound) thereof, ##STR1## wherein Z represents an alkylene group having from 1 to 3 carbon atoms which can be substituted with one or more of hydrogen, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, a.dbd.S group or a.dbd.O group; and R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, and R.sub.4 each represents hydrogen, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an alkylthio group, an acyl group, an acylamino group, a sulfonamido group, a diacylamino group, a carboxy group, a sulfo group, or a hydroxy group, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 together form a group represented by ##STR2## (wherein Z has the same meaning as Z in formula (I)) or a 5-membered or 6-membered hydrocarbon ring or hetero-cyclic ring is described. The compounds represented by formula (I) are effective in preventing the fading of dye images formed upon color development of the color photographic light-sensitive material and the occurrence of yellow stain in non-image areas due to the action of light, humidity or heat.
