A disposable diaper having a front-rear direction and a width direction includes: a first waistline region; a second waistline region; a crotch; an absorbent core; a waistband; a body portion disposed on a non-skin facing surface side of the waistband; and a space that opens toward the crotch region disposed on the non-skin facing surface side of the waistband. The body portion includes a first outer end edge that is an outer end edge in the front-rear direction in the first waistline region. In a natural state of half fold in which the waistband is sandwiched by the body portion and the disposable diaper is folded at a fold line extending in the width direction as a base point in the crotch region, a part of the waistband protrudes from the first outer end edge in the front-rear direction.

Disposable diaper

A low-weight infant diaper has a longitudinal direction and a width direction that intersect each other. The low-weight infant diaper includes: an exterior sheet disposed closer to a non-skin side than an absorbent body; and a belt including a first locking member on a first side in the width direction and a second locking member on a second side opposite to the first side in the width direction. The belt is locked to a non-skin side of the exterior sheet by the first locking member. The belt includes a first additional joining portion that causes a part of the belt to join the exterior sheet. The first additional joining portion is disposed in a region in the first side.

Low-weight infant diaper

This non-woven fabric comprises the following configuration. In this non-woven fabric for a liquid-permeable sheet of an absorbent article, said non-woven fabric comprising a thickness direction, a planar direction, a first face, and a second face: the non-woven fabric includes thermoplastic resin fibers, and cellulosic fibers, at least a portion whereof configures a plurality of fiber masses; the non-woven fabric further comprises a plurality of spaces which are adjacent to first regions of each of the plurality of fiber masses, said first regions facing the first face; and each of the plurality of fiber masses is not bonded to the thermoplastic resin fibers.

A disposable diaper having a front-rear direction and a width direction that is orthogonal to the front-rear direction, includes: a front waistline region; a rear waistline region; a crotch region disposed between the front waistline region and the rear waistline region; an absorbent core; a skin surface side sheet disposed on a skin facing surface side from the absorbent core; a waistband disposed on the skin facing surface side of the skin surface side sheet in the rear waistline region; and a fastening tape disposed in the rear waistline region and that includes a locking portion.

An absorbent article has front and back surface sheets, and an absorbent body disposed within the front surface sheet and back surface sheet laminate. The absorbent article is further provided with a stretchable waist member disposed within the laminate in a manner enabling stretching in the width direction, and a pair of stretchable side members formed on the peripheral edge of the laminate in a manner enabling stretching in the width direction. One member and the other member of the pair of stretchable side members are formed, respectively, on one end and the other end of the laminate in the width direction. The stretchable waist member overlaps with each of the pair of stretchable side members in the lengthwise direction, is disposed further on the non-skin side than the absorbent body in the thickness direction, and overlaps with the absorbent body in the thickness direction but is not joined thereto.

Absorbent article

A packaging body for absorbent articles which can further attract an attention of a user and can increase a desire of purchase of the user is provided. The packaging body for absorbent articles includes absorbent articles and a bag-shaped packaging sheet for packaging a plurality of absorbent articles. The packaging sheet includes a surface constituting an outer surface of the packaging body, and a back surface that constitutes an inner surface of the packaging body and comes into contact with the absorbent articles. The surface of the packaging sheet has a plurality of surface recesses formed so as to be recessed toward the back surface side and the back surface of the packaging sheet has a plurality of back surface recesses formed so as to be recessed toward the surface.

Packaging body for absorbent article

An absorbent article has front and back surface sheets, and an absorbent body disposed within the front surface sheet and back surface sheet laminate. The absorbent article is further provided with a stretchable waist member disposed within the laminate in a manner enabling stretching in the width direction. The stretchable waist member is disposed between the absorbent body and the front surface sheet in the thickness direction and is joined to the front surface sheet. A portion of the stretchable waist member overlaps with and touches the absorbent body in the thickness direction but is not joined thereto, and the portion of the stretchable waist member that does not overlap with the absorbent body in the thickness direction is joined to the back surface sheet.

A nonwoven fabric for an outer sheet of an absorbent article has a liquid-impermeable sheet having moisture vapor permeability, the nonwoven fabric having a thickness direction and a planar direction, and a first surface and a second surface, the nonwoven fabric including thermoplastic resin fibers, and cellulosic fibers that are cellulosic fibers of which at least a portion form a plurality of fiber masses, the nonwoven fabric comprising a plurality of gaps that are adjacent to first regions of each of the plurality of fiber masses that are facing the first surface, wherein each of the plurality of fiber masses are not joined with the thermoplastic resin fibers.

A disposable absorbent article, having a front-back direction that is perpendicular to a width direction and a thickness direction that extends from a skin contact surface side to a non-skin contact surface side of a wearer, includes: an absorbent constituent; a liquid-permeable topsheet that is disposed on the skin contact surface side of the absorbent constituent; and a leakage-preventing sheet that is disposed on at least one of an outside, in the thickness direction, of the absorbent constituent, and an outside, in the width direction, of the absorbent constituent. The leakage-preventing sheet includes a water repelling layer including a nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric of the water repelling layer includes fiber and has an average fiber diameter of 0.5 to 10 &#x3bc;m. The water repelling layer includes a water repelling section where a group of particles adhere to a surface of the fiber.

An absorbent article includes an absorbent main body, side flaps, leakage barriers, and an elastic member joined in between the side flaps in the absorbent main body, and stretchable and shrinkable in a width direction. Each leakage barrier includes a standing portion in which an outer side in the width direction is a fixed end, and an inner side in the width direction is a free end, and a supporting portion which is adjacent to one end portion in a longitudinal direction of the standing portion and overlaps with the elastic member in a thickness direction. The supporting portion is fixed to the absorbent main body by the heat welding portion. Each side flap is folded to the inner side in the width direction at a position of a folding line which passes through the supporting portion and extends along the longitudinal direction in a plan view.

An absorbent article capable of giving a sense of higher security to a user is provided. The absorbent article includes nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric includes organic cotton fibers. The organic cotton fibers form a plurality of fiber lumps in the nonwoven fabric. The fiber lumps are configured to be visible from the outside. The light transmittance of the portion corresponding to the fiber lumps in the nonwoven fabric is lower than the light transmittance of a portion where the fiber lumps are not present in the nonwoven fabric.

Absorbent article and packaging

A top sheet of a disposable diaper includes projections and depressions. The projection and the depression extend in the front-back direction, and are arranged alternately in the width direction. The top sheet includes a first region disposed at least in the rear waistline region and a second region disposed at least in a crotch region. A height of the first projection is higher than a height of the second projection. A first depression is provided with a widthwise projection configured to divide a space in a first depression extending in a front-back direction. A pitch of the first projection in the width direction is larger than a pitch of the second projection in the width direction.

A front edge of a disposable diaper includes a curved recess recessed rearward in a region including the center of the disposable diaper in a width direction, and a front straight portion extending parallel to the width direction from the outer edge of the recess. A rear edge of the disposable diaper includes a curved projection protruding rearward in the region, and a rear straight portion extending parallel to the width direction from the outer edge of the projection. A pair of first cutout portions is recessed rearward from the outer edge of the front straight portion and recessed inward from the front edge of the outer edge of the disposable diaper. A pair of second cutout portions is recessed frontward from the outer edge of the rear straight portion and recessed inward from the rear edge of the outer edge of the disposable diaper.

A disposable diaper includes a front waistline region, a rear waistline region and a fastening tape, as the waistline retaining unit extending along the product widthwise direction and holding the disposable diaper onto a body of a wearer. Furthermore, the disposable diaper includes a crotch stretch unit that is formed in the crotch region and can expand and contract in the product longitudinal direction, and leg gathers. The leg gathers are longer than the crotch stretch unit in the product longitudinal direction L, and are provided at an outer side from the crotch stretch unit in the product widthwise direction. A low stretch region having a lower ratio of expansion and contraction than the crotch stretch unit is formed between the leg gathers and the crotch stretch unit.
