A lens moving frame according to an embodiment of the invention includes a holder portion. The holder portion includes: wall portions having guide holes formed therein; partition walls into which a guide bar is inserted and which are provided near the corresponding wall portions; and lubricant reservoir portions that are provided between the partition walls and the wall portions and have a lubricant filled and stored therein. The lubricant stored in the lubricant reservoir portion is adhered to the guide bar disposed between the partition wall and the wall portion. When the lens moving frame is moved along the guide bar, an extra lubricant is scraped off from the guide bar by the guide holes and opening portions of the partition walls and then stored in the lubricant reservoir portions.

Lens moving frame and lens device

A lens device includes: a lens barrel body having holes; guide bars supported by the lens barrel body and one ends of the guide bars are inserted in the holes; lens holding frames supported so as to be movable along the guide bars and are engaged with the guide bars; and pressing members that press the one ends of the guide bars in a direction perpendicular to the guide bars and are inserted in the holes. The pressing members have a falling-off prevention engagement protrusion engaged with the lens barrel body.

A lock mechanism for a stage apparatus, the stage apparatus having a stationary support board and a movable stage relatively movable in a plane parallel to the stationary support board, includes a pair of engaging members projecting from the movable stage; a rotational lock device including a pair of arm members rotatably mounted and relatively rotatable between an engaged position at which facing free ends of the arm members clasp corresponding engaging members, and a disengaged position at which the facing free ends of the arm members move away from the corresponding engaging members; a lock driving device which rotates the arm members to the engaged position upon the movable stage entering a non-operational state; and an unlock driving device which rotates the arm members to the disengaged position so that the movable stage enters an operational state.

A lock mechanism for a stage apparatus includes a movable stage; a pair of engaging members provided on the movable stage; a pair of lock members positioned between the engaging members and movable along an imaginary straight line passing through the engaging members; a first link member movable along a reference straight line between the lock members; a pair of second link members rotatably mounted on the first link member and rotatably mounted on the lock members; a lock driving device which moves the lock members mutually away from each other to engage with the engaging members by moving the first link member along the reference straight line; and an unlock driving device which moves the lock members mutually toward each other so as to disengage with the engaging members by moving the first link member in the other direction along the reference straight line.

The binoculars include a pair of displaceable optical elements, which are at least parts of objective optical systems, respectively, a focusing mechanism used to move the displaceable optical elements for focusing, a pair of guide rails that guide the displaceable optical elements, respectively, when they are moved. The pair of guide rails have inclined portions, at least parts thereof, which incline with respect to the optical axes of the objective optical systems, respectively. A pair of engagement portions are formed on a pair of frames of the displaceable optical elements, respectively. The engagement portions are engaged with the guide rails, respectively. When the displaceable optical elements are moved for focusing with the pair of engagement portions being engaged with the inclined portions of the pair of guide rails, respectively, a distance between the optical axes of the pair of displaceable optical elements changes, thereby a convergence value being compensated.

Binoculars having displaceable optical elements

Binoculars which include a pair of observation optical systems each having an objective optical system, an erecting optical system and an eyepiece optical system. The binoculars include a focusing mechanism that is used to move a part of the observation optical system for focusing, and a convergence value compensating mechanism that compensates for a convergence value by displacing displaceable optical elements which are at least parts of the objective optical systems, respectively, in association with actuation of the focusing mechanism. In this structure, a distance between optical axes of the eyepiece optical systems is adjustable in line with a width between eyes of a user. A maximum value of a distance between optical axes of the displaceable optical elements is smaller than a minimum value of the distance between the optical axes of the eyepiece optical systems.

Convergence value compensating binoculars

There is provided binoculars which include a pair of observation optical systems each having an objective optical system, an erecting optical system and an eyepiece optical system. The binoculars include a focusing mechanism that is used to move a part of observation optical systems for focusing, a convergence value compensating mechanism that compensates for a convergence value by displacing displaceable optical elements which are at least parts of the objective optical systems, respectively, in association with actuation of the focusing mechanism, and a light shielding mechanism configured to shield light for preventing light from entering through a clearance caused in accordance with displacement of the displaceable optical elements by actuation of the convergence value compensating mechanism.

Binoculars with light-shielding mechanism

The polar-axis telescope has an objective lens, a focal plate, an eyepiece, a zoom optical system, and a zoom optical system driver. The objective lens forms an object image, and the focal plate is arranged on a focal plane of the objective lens. The eyepiece is arranged backward of the focal plate and forms an observed image. The zoom optical system is arranged between the objective lens and the eyepiece. The zoom optical system makes the observed image appear gradually bigger while maintaining an in-focus situation. The zoom optical system driver shifts the zoom optical system along a polar-axis, corresponding to an optical axis of the polar-axis telescope, so as to change a magnification.

An image-erecting viewing optical system includes a first prism having an incident surface and at least two reflection surfaces, a front lens group of an objective optical system, a second prism having an incident surface and at least two reflection surfaces, a rear lens group of the objective optical system, a field stop, and an eyepiece optical system, in this order from the object. One reflection surface of the first or second prism includes a roof-mirror surface. Image-erecting viewing optical system

A telescope includes an erecting system having first, second, third and fourth reflecting surfaces from an object side, the first and second reflecting surfaces and the third and fourth reflecting surfaces facing each other at right angle, respectively. An objective lens located between the first and fourth reflecting surfaces has a positive refractive power to converge object light that is reflected by at least the first reflecting surface for forming an image. An eyepiece located between the fourth reflecting surface and an eye point, has a positive refractive power to magnify the image formed by the objective lens. The first reflecting surface is formed on a retractable mirror that can swing between a working position such that the first and second reflecting surfaces are perpendicular, and a retracted position such that a free end of the retractable mirror moves close to the second reflecting surface.

Telescope and binoculars

A telescope or binoculars includes an erecting system having a plurality of reflecting surfaces. First and second reflecting surfaces and third and fourth reflecting surfaces respectively face each other at right angles. An intersection line between extended surfaces of the first and second reflecting surfaces is perpendicular to the intersection line between extended surfaces of the third and fourth reflecting surfaces. An objective lens is located between the second and third reflecting surfaces and converges object light that is reflected by the first and second reflecting surfaces for forming an image. An eyepiece is located between the fourth reflecting surface and an eye point to magnify the image formed by the objective lens.
