An engine is provided with: an engine body; an intake line connected to a combustion chamber of the engine body; a first fuel line configured to supply a first fuel to the intake line; a second fuel line configured to supply a second fuel having a lower explosive limit that is higher than that of the first fuel to the intake line; a first flow regulating valve disposed in the first fuel line; a second flow regulating valve disposed in the second fuel line; and a control device configured to control the first flow regulating valve and the second flow regulating valve so that the first fuel is supplied to the combustion chamber before the second fuel is supplied to the combustion chamber in an intake process.

Engine and method of controlling engine

A negative-balanced isolated pelvic perfusion method, in which a drug is administered into the closed pelvis while keeping the volume of suction from the vein larger than that of injection into the artery, does not require allogeneic blood transfusion. A perfusion device is for recovering a liquid containing a drug and/or blood from a tube connecting to the inferior vena cava and for injecting the liquid obtained into a tube connecting to the artery, provided with a unit for closing the inside of the pelvis by including a unit for blocking the artery from the heart to the pelvis, a unit for blocking the inferior vena cava from the pelvis to the heart, and a unit for blocking a blood flow from the pelvis to the lower limbs. The perfusion device is provided with a pelvic perfusion unit equipped with a reservoir, an autotransfusion unit, and a dialysis unit.

Perfusion device and method for operating same

Provided are a pancreas perfusion apparatus capable of administering a drug only to the pancreas and strictly suppressing a leakage of the drug outside the pancreas and a method for controlling the same. The apparatus includes: a first vein occlusion section occluding a vein through which a venous blood from the pancreas flows; a second vein occlusion section occluding a vein into which a venous blood from collateral pathways outside the pancreas flows; an artery occlusion section occluding sites where an artery that nourishes the pancreas is connected to arteries that nourish other tissues; a drug administration section recovering a liquid upstream of the first vein occlusion section and supplying the recovered liquid to the artery; a systemic circulation section recovering a liquid upstream of the second vein occlusion section and feeding the recovered liquid into a systemic circulation; and a control device controlling the systemic circulation pump.

Pancreas perfusion apparatus, method for controlling same, and method for pancreas perfusion

A gas-fired engine that supplies high-pressure liquefied gas (e.g., LNG) as fuel by a reciprocating pump. A gas fuel supply device includes: a reciprocating pump driven by a hydraulic motor to boost an introduced liquefied gas pressure to a desired pressure and discharge the liquefied gas; a hydraulic oil introduction line that introduces a portion of high-pressure hydraulic oil from a hydraulic oil line and supplies the high-pressure hydraulic oil to the hydraulic motor; a hydraulic oil return line that returns the high-pressure hydraulic oil to the hydraulic oil line; a heating unit that heats and gasifies the boosted liquefied gas; a control section that adjusts a rotational speed of the hydraulic motor to maintain constant a gas fuel outlet pressure of the heating unit; and an engine inlet gas pressure-reducing valve that regulates a gas fuel pressure injected into a combustion chamber.

Gas-fired engine

An intra pelvic cancer therapeutic agent perfusion apparatus and method for administering a cancer therapeutic agent to and recovering same from a cancer tissue site within the pelvis. The tip of a first sheath is percutaneously inserted into the femoral artery and the tip of a second sheath is inserted into the femoral vein. A first balloon catheter is inserted into the aorta through the femoral artery and a second balloon catheter is inserted into the vena cava through the femoral vein. The first balloon catheter is used to block the blood flow and the second balloon is inflated to form an intravenous closed region between the site of insertion in the vena cava and a lower limb side venous site. A body fluid containing a cancer therapeutic agent is administered to the intra arterial closed region through the first sheath and is removed therefrom through the second sheath.
