A jumper chip component of the present invention includes a connection conductor formed of a conductive layer over an upper face and opposite side faces of an insulating substrate, and a conductive material formed of a conductive layer between plates of the insulating substrate and on a side face at the corner of the insulating substrate so as not to be electrically connected to the connection conductor. Since the conductive material formed between the plates of the insulating substrate opposes the connection conductor formed on the upper face of the insulating substrate, the connection conductor formed on the upper face of the insulating substrate and a second conductive pattern disposed under the insulating substrate are shielded from each other by the conductive material, and good isolation is possible.

Jumper chip component and mounting structure therefor

In a connection structure of a radio frequency circuit of the invention, a jumper line of a jumper member is positioned by an insulating base, and the jumper line has a base part that is located inside a cover to be electrically shielded and terminals that are protruded downward from a lower side of the insulating base. In a state that the jumper line of the jumper member intersects a third conductor, the terminals are inserted through a circuit board to be connected to first and second conductors. Therefore, the base part of the jumper line is electrically shielded by the cover, which achieves satisfactory RF characteristics.

Connection structure for radio frequency circuit that exceeds in RF characteristics

A shielding case eliminates the problem in that the fixing portion of a feed-through capacitor juts out of the cabinet thereof; it does not affect the mounting conditions or the like of internal electronic components even if a part of the cabinet is bent inward to provide a portion on which the feed-through capacitor is mounted; and it enables automated assembly. The shielding case provides all the aforesaid advantages without sacrificing the shielding effect thereof. The shielding case is provided with: a printed circuit board (PCB) (31) which is housed and installed in a cabinet (28) constituted by a frame (23), a top cover (26), and a bottom cover (27); and a feed-through capacitor (29) which has one end thereof soldered to the PCB (31) and the other end thereof led out of the cabinet (28) and which has a fixing portion (36); wherein the top portion of one side surface of the frame (23) is bent inward to provide the side surface of the frame (23) with a horizontal plate portion (32), a mounting hole (33), through which the feed-through capacitor (29) is inserted and secured, is formed in the horizontal plate portion (32), and the edge portion of the PCB (31) is positioned under and opposed to the mounting hole (33) to expose an inserting hole (30) through the mounting hole (33) so as to insert the feed-through capacitor (29) in the mounting hole (33) to secure it.

Shielding case

A shielding case ensures no deterioration in shielding effect, and allows a printed circuit board (PCB) to be installed from under the frame thereof and a leader terminal to be also installed from above the opening thereof. The shielding case is provided with: a top cover (26) and a bottom cover (27) which are fitted to a top edge portion (24) and a bottom edge portion (25), respectively, of a frame (23) to cover open sections (21) and (22) of the frame (23); a PCB (31) which is housed and installed in a cabinet (28) constituted by the frame (23), the top cover (26), and the bottom cover (27), and inserting holes (30); where the top portion of one side surface of the frame (23) is bent inward to provide the side surface of the frame (23) with a horizontal plate portion (32), and an opening (33) is formed in the horizontal plate section (32), the opening (33) is covered from inside by an edge portion of the PCB (31), the inserting holes (30) of the PCB (31) are exposed through the opening (33), and molded base terminals (29) are inserted in the inserting holes (30) and soldered so as to secure them to the PCB (31).
